HitsterParticipantGiven the ongoing Greek Freak debates and us all wondering what his potential is. How about a few suggestions to find the players with the most potential in the NBA. Lets throw it open, can include anyone currently on a roster so we’ll likely get the usual suspects – Drummond, Wiggins, Parker, Giannis, Embiid, Noel etc. Plus lets look at guys already at All Star level like Anthony Davis for example is his upside to go franchise level greater than say Giannis’ upside from where he is now.
I’ll throw in Rudy Gobert, Steve Adams as wild cards.

RooneyParticipantI would also say Zach Lavine and Dante Exum if they both have good work ethics.

Lotto StudParticipantMason Plumlee! Once the top tier HOF’ers hang ’em up, Plumlee’s name will start to loom around as a Top 5 Superstar at his position, rather sooner than later on in his career.

BogDon_KryptParticipantDipo for sure. Going to be a defensive stopper. Also like Steven Adams developping in OKC. Of course, the usual suspects in Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, the Greek Freak, and Borris Diaw. Also think that Dion Waiters will break out with Lebron, KLove, and Kyrie on the team.

Jr. ROXASParticipantI agree with the others but BORIS DIAW?? Cmooooooooonnnnn haha he’s old now and fat AF. All jokes aside, I’m pretty sure he’s already fulfilled his potential lol more so with the Spurs.

AdamJCallejaParticipantI appreciate your humor in the fact that you’ve thrown Diaw in every post of yours. Ahahahah

Ahkasi ClayParticipantHis potential has potential. Could be a top 5 center. (To be fair most the centers now are really just power forwards )

kazamParticipantJoel Embiid has a ton of potential.
Noah Voneleh as well, he’s so young, big and mobile.
Jarnell Stokes is a guy I have been big on for a while- he is still only 20 despite having come out after his junior year at Tennessee. He can and will find a role in the NBA as a rebounder and finisher, even if it isnt with the Grizz.

HitsterParticipantThanks for the feedback guys, Vonleh is a good choice. We won’t see much of him this year as Charlotte have Williams, Zeller, MKD etc in front of him. But I figure he’ll be given to Patrick Ewing as a project and Pat will be told "develop him" and he’ll play a few minutes as and when required initially.

kazamParticipantAnother big guy I am excited for, though his minutes will be limited, is Jusuf Nurkic from Denver. Was wishing the Raps would target him in the Draft but Denver made a great pick with him. Might not contribute much this year, he needs to work on finishing around the rim off offensive rebounds, but he is an excellent pick and roll defender and a big time rebounder on both ends.

Dog_ShammdogParticipantThere’s so many good young young prospects, but I’ll name a few young vets that still have high potential, Reggie Jackson, Harrison Barnes, kcp, donatas motiejunas, Jeremy lamb (I don’t have much faith), Myers Leonard, tony wroten, Tobias Harris, marquis Teague, Ed Davis etc, I feel like there’s a lot of players that could be stars if they were in different situations and that somes growth and development will be stifled if not stunted by their situations, but that’s nba basketball, look at Gerald green. He could be a superstar by now had things played out differently, not to say immaturity didn’t play a role in his early struggles

properbreaksParticipantDerrick Favors. He’s athletic, long, naturally strong, has a good work ethic and doesn’t mind being a big man. He improves every year and works on different parts of his game. His biggest asset is he likes banging and being a big man. His touch has even improved.

lalailaParticipantI think Joel Embiid something unlimited potential.. I mean AD-type potential made even higher..
7’1 very athletic and smooth moving mobile 265lbs big man with 7’6 winspan. already showed he can shoot a little (and even from 3) already showing plenty of (possibly in the future) unstoppable post moves, he even handles a little and has nice court vision.
And just then you start to talk about his defense potential with rebounding and shot blocking already here.
Crazy talent. Hope he will have a healthy career.
