Who do you guys think is the next player or players in college basketball to have killer instincts and the drive, will to win, and work ethic up there with the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant?

Really tough to tell because guys like kobe and michael are so few and far between. One guy that I know has a very strong will to win is Marcus Smart. Well see about his work ethic and how much he improves this year but his motor out on the court is non stop. Julius Randle also has a non stop motor. Im not saying these guys will end up being as good as kobe or jordan but they have very high motors and have great work ethics from what ive heard.

There’s a difference between having a will to win and good work ethic.

It’s a whole different story to say they are with the likes of MJ and Kobe.

There is nobody in college that has that.  Hell, there probably aren’t in the NBA that have that either.

Strongly disagree.  There are certain players with tons of talent that just mentally check out of games in the big moments or even at random points in the game.  Then there are players that you can see just live for the big moments and put their teams on their backs but also never take a play off and play every game as if it is a game 7 of the finals. That is killer instinct IMO.  Theres not a lot of players left these days where losing is not an option for them and if they do lose they are legit upset about it for a long time.  Kobe and CP3 are the only ones who come to mind left in the NBA as well Duncan but Duncan just does it in his own quiet way but it kills him inside.  I think westbrook has that attitude as well.  Say what you want about the guy, you can tell he cares out there and plays with the heart and passion that is matched by few.

Mike and Kobe have a different kind of fire inside them. They are just simply made up of some different stuff. It’s like they dont think like humans they have super will to win and drive. I don’t know if anyone in college basketball has that. Though I must say Julius Randle operates like an assasin. CP3 has some of that tough stuff inside of him so does westbrook. I feel Kyrie has some real desire in him as well and he domands the ball in big moments.

I would say Kobe, Westbrook and Rose. And as far as in college, from what I saw of Randle last night I think he has it too. Lebron is getting a better killer instinct as his career goes on though.
