providencefriars1ParticipantTwo sleepers of mine for next year are Dee Bost and Drew Gordon. Bost’s PPG and APG have increased every year since his freshman season and his numbers in 2010-2011 would have been higher but he was ineligible for the non conference so he missed out on some of the cupcakes. Gordon too missed some of the season and has raised his points and rebounds every year, he also averged a double double last yr.
Ive seen both Yancy Gates and Dewayne Jackson play in person and they both were not very impressive. Jackson looked overwhelmed by Providence’s lack luster defense and did not shoot the ball well on the season (41% on the year). On the plus side he has great size for a SF at 6’8”. Yancy Gates seemed to want to play on the perimeter for most of the game but only did damage in the paint. He also has good size but hasnt improved his production much since his freshman season. Both these guys are good but I dont see them really breaking out.

Moon RiverParticipantJordan Taylor from Wisconsin, one of the most efficient (assist to turnover) PG’s in the country. Plus, he can shoot and score of the dribble.
Kris Joseph. Was heralded as the next Wes Johnson for the Orange, but had an inconsistent year. However, he is too talented and too smart to let that happen again next year.

Looks like your boy Olu Ashaolu is transferring to Oregon, so much for a breakout year. Maybe next year.
