HighlightfilmParticipantI was looking through the 2015 NBA Mock Draft on this website and noticed that two outstanding players with extreme potential are not on the board. The two guys that need to be on the board is Alan Williams and Denzel Livingston. I believe that it is unfair that DIV I players still get left out just because of the conference.
*Alan Williams C/PF 6’7” 240lbs UC-Santa Barbara: [Player: Alan Williams]
I know his position will change if he makes the NBA because of his size but he shows some Charles Barkley like attributes. He is going on his senior year at UCSB and I believe he deserves more TV time, more scouting, and to be on this mock drafts board. Like I said he is undersized but look at his statistics while he played Center and Power forward for his team during the 2013-14 college season
mins:31.1 pts:21.3 rebs:11.5 blks:2.4 stls:1.2 fg:53%
these stats are phenomenal, Barkley didn’t get this much minutes in college but the stats resemble each other like they both steal at a mild level they both blocked shots on a decent level both scored phenomenally and both rebounded like they were 7 footers, though Barkley had a higher field goal % I still believe Alan Williams is a mirror version of him. He has potential to be a star and his skill and stats improved from his freshman year to his junior year in college he plays to well to be singled out in this draft or to even be undrafted would disappoint many just because his conference isn’t very recognized but he is in a DIV I school for NCAA Basketball it is not fair at all for him to be projected late I believe he should be lottery. He is better than a lot of guys going before him on the Draft board.*Denzel Livingston SG 6’4” 178lbs Incarnate Word:
He has a productive talent and sadly this guy is so unknown he is not even on this website which really sucks because his college is so unknown and looked at. He needs strength to his game but that is his only legitimate statistic flaw. He is an extreme defensive player that also has the ability to take smart shots and utilizes his ability to the fullest extent. I can talk but I will let the stats speak for their selves (Mind you he is now going onto his sophomore year in college so these are his freshman year stats)
mins:32.9 pts:20.3 rebs:6.4 blks:1.4 stls:2.5 ast:3.8 fg:49% 3pt:39%
See these stats are ridiculous, he is extremely talented with turnover defense and for a SG that weighs 178lbs he knows how to rebound quite well. He has a good shooting stroke at 39% from the field when he attempts at least 5 3pts a game, he draws fouls and is 77% from the free throw line. Though I have direct comparison yet I still find him as a lottery player and he needs to be on this websites mock draft board because he plays with extreme talent what else could you want from a SG he knows how to score, steal, block, draw fouls, rebound, and shoot 3s he is all around and deserves more respect for it.These guys need to be on the Draft Board for the 2015 Mock Draft although they are not winners, they are talented and special, if you guys got some players that deserve it also please post some and help get this out to the mock draft creators. If you guys agree or disagree with me please give me some feedback.
Thanks

HighlightfilmParticipantHe is a very top notch turnover defense player and always sticks with his man he deserves respect and an NBA team he has the highest stealing percentage in the nation at this point he is truly talented

Lotto StudParticipantFlorida SF, Dorian Finney-Smith – Real sleeper here who deserves mentioning. With Wilbekin gone, I expect him to score a little more.
He cleans the glass very well defensively, but he’s just as effective doing it on the offensive end. 1 game this past season against Arkansas, he grabbed a total of 15 boards with 9 being on the offensive end. “Doe Doe” is an underrated aggressive player that gets to the line at a high rate for him to mostly live and die by the spot up 3-ball.
Be very aware this season.
UConn PG, Ryan Boatright – I expect his numbers (12.1 ppg, 3.4 apg) from last year to be heavily inflated with Napier gone, especially now that he will be the primary ball handler, along with an eligible Rodney Purvis playing off the ball.

HighlightfilmParticipantDorian really improved leaving V-Tech his scoring was affected because of Erick Green but going to Florida his scoring improved he rebounds more and just added his potential he, he just needs to fix his shot and he’ll be a very talented role player. As for Boatright he really has to be prepared to be a 1st option for scoring also sharing it will Rodney, because Rodney already showed he has some scoring potential in him so yeah I believe Boatright needs to work on his scoring IQ seeing that it has dropped from his first two years for Connecticut if he doesn’t I see Rodney taking the scoring lead from him so I do expect at least a 2 or 3 increase in his assist since like you said Shabazz is not there to take the passing ability from him

Tune SquadParticipantPlease let’s be reasonable. Alan Williams is nothing like Charles Barkley and he’ll be lucky to be drafted. Don’t get me wrong..he has an overwhelming physique (size/ weight) at the college level, but he is a slow and lives below the rim.
I agree on Weber and Boatright and have them on my draft board already. Finney-Smith, Foster, Jordan definitely have NBA level athleticism and have a decent shot at being drafted if they come out this year and continue to improve their game(s).

HighlightfilmParticipantIn no way did I say he was going to be like Barkley I say that stats show he has the ability to fill the stat in the same way Barkley did. He may not be over the rim athletic but can throw it down in fact Demarcus Cousins is slow and didn’t always play over the rim and he is without a doubt one of the best Centers in the NBA today. So just because of those two abilities which can be fixed your telling me he doesn’t deserve lottery? Come on now he does deserved to be picked and showed a lot for it but I guess your opinion can be your opinion. I guess if he played for Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Ohio State and etc. your opinion would change but it is what it is.
But I do respect how you feel and I appreciate your opinion about him it is just crazy saying it is lucky if he even gets drafted0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/07/2014 - 2:20pm #943521

imAboutDatActionParticipantCousins is also 6/’10 with 7.5 wingspan.
Again, he’s NOTHING like Barkley. Just cut the lazy comparison out. Any undersized front court player always gets mentioned with Barkley.

TRC1991ParticipantI just don’t see any player from Incarnate Word ever getting drafted. That league is terrible, the competition isn’t 5% what the NBA is.

HighlightfilmParticipantTrue most of Incarnate Words schedule was no name teams but they did have at least 15 games against well deserved teams and in those games Denzel played above the 20 + points mark I guess competition could be a factor but you never know until the opinion is tested.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantHahahah, Sheed is my youngbul I just was talking to him… But I feel hes the second best PG prospect in the country, major upside. He needs to work on his jumper tho. But at 6’5 and athletic, he should be a lottery pick… I would also throw Katin Reinheirt in there, if he does good at USC.. JP Tokoto will prolly come out this year so I expect him in round 1

BobbyqrsParticipantremember the name people ! Great size and length at about 7’2 plus and excellent athlete and shot blocker. Raw offensively but has a soft touch. Only been playing for a few years. Kinda like Joel Embiid.

JoeWolf1I’m glad he bumped in Tashawn Thomas from Oklahoma. He’s a flat out stud, and will probably be one of the biggest impact transfer players this season in D1 hoops.
Really skilled, big bodied, kind of similar to another Sooner, in Romero Osby. Really solid guy for a late 2nd round pick.
