wade then Roy, or a bigman like howard, i really like bosh tho.

i think melo will fall off im not a big melo fan,
also just because wade is 28 doesnt mean he cant be one of the players of the decade . matter fact

    Bron

    Durant

    Paul

    Wade

    Roy

    maybe Deron Williams/ Tyreke Evans

this upcoming decade will be the decade of the guards

This summers’ free agent signings is going to have a huge impact on this list. I also think Melo is a very underappreciated player. The next decade will definitely be full of top tier guards with Wade, Paul, D-will, Rose, Roy, and Tyreke all in their primes and the likes of Wall still to come.

if any thing makes a comeback, it will be the center position.

    Bynum
    Bogut
    Lopez
    Howard

    are revolutionizing that position ;

but yea i do think next decade the guards will have offically taken over.

    Its impossible to say…

If you asked this question in 2000, i doubt anyone would of said Kobe, and definetly nobody would of said Lebron

For all we know, the player of the next decade could be a freshman in High School

But I think it’ll be down to Lebron & Durant….whoever is able to get the most championships within the next 10 years will probably earn that title…

well said. Way too early to tell because we have so many players who will be entering the league in the next 10 years that we don’t know. So I am going to mess with this prediction and say John Bryant. He will get called up next year and dominate the next 10 years and make fat ppl across America proud, lol.

    LeBron, of course, only 25…
Kevin Durant, a SuperStar in the Making, could challenge LeBron
Dwight, if he can put it together…he has potential to be on Shaq’s level…
Brandon Roy, the next D-Wade of this Class, underrated at first, but you know who he is.
Deron Williams, I just think he’s going to be the best PG.
Carmelo Anthony, he’ll be a dominant force for the early years, may make it past the 1st half. That’s just my opinion.
Chris Paul, there’s no denying his talent. I know some will argue about him being so low…
    D. Rose, ‘Reke Havoc, Lopez, Mayo, & possibly John Wall will jump into the talk…
Let’s not forget Ricky Rubio! (: I know I’ll get some negatives.

Yeah, true Magiknick, but a Freshman in High-School wouldn’t come until half the decade is over, 4 years of Highschool & at least one year of College. So…Doubt that happens, but I understand where you’re coming from. & I do think Durant is a Safe Bet barring Injury. Dude is only…21 & we just got into the New Decade

im tired of when discussions like this come up someone always ends up putting john wall in these conversation like wtf he is not even in the NBA how can u even mention him or rubio whom i think is a big hoax and will never ever ever live up to the hype…wall on the other hand can we wait until he gets to the next level and proves himself before putting him in these conversations

I think its going to be a battle with James and durant….Durant i think is the second best player in the nba in having that Killer instict behind kobe…dude is just straight nasty…and i tell you he will be better then carmello and wade….i can just imagin the final apperances that are goin to happen between these two superstars for the simple fact that there in two conferences and you know that durant will be the best player in the west in 5 years or so..and im the biggest kobe fan there is so its not that im bias…and these thunder team is on its way to elite status

LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Dwight Howard are the clear, clear, clear front-runners.

Chris Bosh could potentially be to the 2010s what Karl Malone was to the 1990s, if he continues to improve. For Carmelo Anthony, as good a player as he is, he reminds me a bit of Charles Barkley with regards to legacy. You always knew he was among the very best, but he never quite crossed into the Jordan/Olajuwon/Malone territory.

Dark horse candidates would be Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans. I don’t expect Evans to improve massively, but I also didn’t expect him to be this good. Rose, on the other hand, has a world of potential and, if he stays healthy, could go down as an elite point guard.

Between Dwyane Wade’s injuries and his age, it’s unlikely he’ll be all that effective by 2017, if not 2015.

Chris Paul’s size and injuries leave him in a similar predicament. Small guards typically fall of significantly after at most eight years in the league.

Andrew Bynum, Greg Oden, Brook Lopez and Blake Griffin all have the chance to approach that level, but will they? It’s tough to say at this stage.

WTF ? Oden needs to play 82 games for one season !! And griffin also ?!? he didnt play a game in nba…. I believe it going to be these 5 players: James,Durant,Wade,Howard( hes going to be next great big man in this decade, real big mans are rarity now),and Rose…. and for the guys who think that wade is going to be old… jordan played well in his 30s so why come cant wade also ?… i mean you dont want expect that hes going to dunk on people, hes one of the best mid range shooters and he keeps on developing that shot as he gets older, so i believe that he is going to be ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN NEXT DECADE
