Lotto StudParticipantI think with all the hype surrounding John Wall, his counter-part Eric Bledsoe gets overshadowed . But I think with an excellent performance thoughout the tourney and a national title he may leave too ….. So don’t be surprised if he bolts, JUST KNOW YOU HEARD IT FROM ME 1st. .

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThere is this one guy who has scored 37 on the same team with the athletic guards that gave John Wall a world of fits in their two games with UK, I’m just saying maybe Fredette isn’t as unathletic as some want to believe.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/18/2010 - 9:21am #267234

JNixonParticipantFreddette has some Acie Law III in him when it comes to scoring..He’s crafty, deceptively strong enough to finish, and he has good ball-handling skills. I don’t know how that would make him project in the NBA because he’s not a true PG, but that’s my comparison. Very good college scorer at least.
I think alot of people are going to know who Ekpe Udoh, Jimmer Fredette (as you said), Jamar Samuels, and Randy Culpepper are after this tourny…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/18/2010 - 9:28am #267238

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantGreg Monroe. He reminds me of Vlade….He could go top 5.
Also, watch out for Ekpe Udoh. Right now? He should stay but with a couple big block games, scoring and rebounding? He might get called the next “Tyrus Thomas” and bolts

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAlso, Darington Hobson could explode into round 1.

JNixonParticipantUdoh is a very skilled player though. He’s capable of playing PF or C, and he has good polish and isn’t very raw at all. Add in his shot-blocking and he has little downside as a prospect…

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI have seen Baylor more than a few times, and I don’t see what would separate Udoh apart from any of the other power forwards in that 20-60 range. He is long, which is nice. A lot of guys are long. He isn’t a complete zero offensively, and it is a decent saving grace that he is a competent passer, but the total and complete lack of lower body strength is going to get him in trouble defensively. That side of the ball needs to be where he makes a name for himself on the next level, but how many starting power forwards really thrive with such a light frame. Baylor is a zone team, so I am not going to make too much of the blocked shots he gets from the weak side. I don’t know how that translates to the NBA. It is like Wes Johnson’s blocked shots. It is a nice showing of his athleticism, but NBA defensive schemes are different. What makes him a better prospect than Earl Clark, who has not been able to get consistent time in Phoenix. I just cannot see him being dramatically better than Jared Jeffries. I think there is a good chance he goes the way of Jawad Williams, Shavlik Randolph, and Jason Smith as fringe guys who need to a little luck to stick. Maybe if he goes to Golden State, he can be the next Anthony Tolliver. Regardless of the comparison, I would project him as a backup power forward. How highly would a team want to draft that kind of guy?

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipant“He might get called the next ‘Tyrus Thomas’ and bolts”
That would be nice as he will be the same age as Tyrus Thomas on draft night.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSo papa says that Texas will beat Kentucky “YOU HEARD IT FROM ME FIRST”
I’ve heard it many times.. But if you’re the first one to say it.. You’re the first one to be wrong.. Texas lost in round 1.
Kyle Singler isn’t on anyone’s mock draft?
What about DraftExpress.com one of the biggest and best NBA scouting site.
0- Posted on: Sat, 03/20/2010 - 6:38am #268052
Lotto StudParticipantIt’s not better than this site, it doesn’t compare by far.

JNixonParticipantI’ll wait til next year to make predictions on Bledsoe. He’s gotta show me he can run PG better than he did this season when he got the chance. He looks alot like Darius Washington as Rudeboy said right now..
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/20/2010 - 11:49am #268121
scoutguruParticipantIn regards to Bledsoe: ceiling…Kyle Lowry. Floor…Darius Washington
