princejamesParticipantMalik Newman is an extremely talented combo guard prospect who has the potential to develop into a very good NBA player. His potential to develop into an elite player in my opinion, will be determined by his ability to develop into a true combo guard who can play both the shooting guard and point guard positions equally well
Here are my player comparisons for Malik Newman ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7574kd2AnA )
Best Case Scenario: Stephon Marbury ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYm0Djpt94s )
Realistic Scenario: Monte Ellis ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Png2Q6nS3a0 )
Worst Case Scenario: Ronald Flip Murray ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3G9hWlvcD8 )0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/16/2014 - 7:15pm #945418
TopShottaParticipantI see his best case as being Monte Ellis with better point guard skills. Steph was a super special talent, prob not the best teammate at times but still a special talent. Newman is very good, but i don’t think he has Marbury talent.

ballislife33Participantfunny how you say combo guard and I cant think of an all star that’s a combo guard in the league today. He’s gonna have to decide if hes a 1 or 2

DukeDaSquadParticipantAlso have people ruled out the chance of him growing anymore because I read that his dad is 6’7". He and I are the same age and I’m still growing, though I’m about 3 to 4 inches shorter than him and his dad is a foot taller than mine.

Lotto StudParticipantWould love to see him at NC State or UConn, preferably NC State with Barber. Purvis would not be a bad consolation backcourt mate either.

adumParticipantI like that worst case scenario Flip Murray comparison.
Best case a cross between Wes Matthews and Victor Oladipo
