Jackson said that if the Pelicans do not trade his rights before the deadline that he will sign with Fenerbahce in Turkey. Now that he has reached that time and that there are no reports of him leaving, that means he’s heading overseas. Definitely deserves a spot in the league and this is the Pelicans fault for treating him that way. Not only could have they used him after the injury of Jrue Holiday (Would have done better than Roberts and Rivers IMO) but they could have at least gotten something like a true center in exchange or a 1st rounder (Some teams had to of at least been willing to offer a 1st rounder for him). They had a chance and they just wasted it. Not saying that they couldn’t deal his rights on draft day or in the offseason but that was very dumb of New Orleans to treat him that way, to not call him up and to not at least get something for him. Apparently having 7 40+ games in the 3rd best league in the world (Behind NBA and Europe) isn’t always enough to get you a spot in the NBA if thrown into a situation like Jackson where only one team can call you up.

Dude, theres like 30 leagues in Europe. Calling the European league one league is like calling all of the NCAA college basketball as one league, implying that Duke is in the same league as the Community College of Vermont..

While you are correct, another similarity between NCAA and euro ball is that seasons, for all leagues, end at similar times as well.

Right its some leagues in Europe that are beyter than D league comp and some leagues that high school teams could win a couple games, thats why you have Pro level A&B in alot of those countries huge difference in competition level and pay.
