TRC1991ParticipantThe draft was tough – i feel like GM’s just danced around my mock, picking guys 1 or 2 spots away from where I had them slotted!!
List all the picks you had right, and a couple close ones too if you want to boost your morale, plus anything else
For Me, Perfect Guesses (6/60 is only 10%! How’d you guys do?)
#1 – Andrew Wiggins
#2 – Jabari Parker
#13 – Zach Lavine
#17 – James Young
#25 – Clint Capela
#41 – Nikola Jokic
Couple Interesting Tidbits
Denver drafted Nurkic at 16 and Harris at 19 – I mocked Harris at 16 and Nurkic at 19, can you believe that?!
I mocked Dangubic at 52 to Philly, he went 54 to Philly
I mocked Jerami Grant 38 and Glenn Robinson 39…Grant ended up going 39 and Robinson 40…can you believe that?!
I mocked Dwight Powell 45, he went 44
I mocked CJ Wilcox 27, he went 28
I mocked Alessandro Gentile to the T’Wolves – just with a different selection
For the longest time I had PJ Hairston mocked to Charlotte in the first round – figuring that MJ would get his fellow Carolina boy. Turns out MJ made it happen – just took a trade first to get him.
Anyways, that was fun. Very fun. Now we get to look forward to free agency!

SwatLakeCityParticipantWiggins at 1, Parker at 2, Randle at 7. That was it in the first round. GM’s danced around my mock too, and selected guys that I had going 1 or 2 slots away from where I had them slotted.
Other notes: I also predicted the Hornets would select PJ Hairston, I just didn’t think they would do the trade with the Heat to get him. I thought they would select Hairston at 24, and no trade. I don’t think I had any of the second round picks correct, but I was close on a couple of them. Oh that’s right I did get one second round pick right Dangubic to Philly at 54. That was luck, I knew Philly would go international with their last two picks, I just didn’t know who. I saw Dangubic on this site as a possible late second round and decided to put him at 54. I thought they have more international guys instead of just Saric, Dangubic and Micic but that’s okay for the Sixers. I thought they would draft Gentile with their mid second rounder (can’t remember which one exactly I think 47), but I think he ended up going undrafted.
In all after the first round I had 76 points. I was very happy with that score. I think that’s my highest score in the first round alone ever. Since my second round was also not too bad, I think I should be close to 100 pts in the end, maybe even over 100 if I’m really lucky!! This should be my highest mock draft score ever!!! (well so far, we will see how I do in 2015 and subsequent years)

TenSecondTomParticipant6 on the dot in the first round. Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, Smart, Randle, and LaVine. Knew about TJ Warren promise to the Suns but didn’t imagine it was for no. 14 and put him at 18; as a Suns’ fan, I wasn’t too thriled about that. Also whiffed on the McGary promise, I thought it was to Charlotte at 24. Same with Bogdanovic, I thought it was at 30 to San Antonio. Overall, I think I scored 78 points in the first round, 94 overall. I did terrible with picks 28-30 I got 0 points in that range and from 55-60 I completely wiffed and got 0 there as well. As deep as this draft was, I expected the specific teams in the back end of the second round to go euro-stash; there were plenty of them who would’ve been nice stash picks that went undrafted such as Klimenko, Westermann, Felicio, Kleber, Linos (Greece). I’m somewhat proud of placing Bruno Caboclo in my second round; I remembered reading an article about him that compared him to Durant and I heard he was a second round lock. Everyone at the Barclays was utterly shocked when his name was called 20th overall.

Kinguy11ParticipantWiggins at 1, Parker at 2, Randle at 7, LaVine at 13, KJ McDaniels at 32 and Cam Bairstow at 49.
I also had an obscene number of picks 1 or 2 places off.

FutureNBAGMParticipantI got six picks right, including my first ever SECOND round choice:
1) Wiggins
2) Parker
6) Smart
7) Randle
13) Lavine
43) Tavares
Overall score(at least according to my calculations): 88. Probably not one of the highest on here but an all time high for me.

chrispaulwallParticipantGot Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, Smart, Randle, Payton, Doug (actually thought Chicago would move up for him too) and Lavine but after that I whiffed on everything. Did fairly well though

joecheck88ParticipantTop 3 Smart Randle Lavine Nurkic Anderson and Nick Johnson. Multiples close like Exum and Gordon I had swapped. Had Vonleh 8. My top 10 was very close. Shakier after that

PowerofXParticipantI got 5 picks right:
1. Wiggins
2. Parker
7. Randle
25. Clint Capela
49. Cameron Bairstow
I had Elfrid Payton going to the Magic at 12, he ended up there in the Saric trade.
Other close picks:
Ennis @ 18 (had him going 20)
Saric 1 pick off
Bogdan Bogdanovic 2 picks off
Spencer Dinwiddie 2 picks off
Markel Brown/Nick Johnson 1/2 picks off (I knew they’d get drafted close together)
Not too familiar with the mock contest scoring but I got a 104 by my count. One of my better mocks.

B-ball fanParticipantWiggins, Parker, Nurkic and Early. I had Saric and Napier going to the right teams, but with the wrong picks. I was one off with Randle, Stauskas and Inglis. I had a lot of picks within 5 off due to how few big risers/sliders there were.
I didn’t do well, but I didn’t put as much effort into perfecting my mock this season, so that was expected.

teamcb3ParticipantI had Wiggins, Parker and Randle right in the top ten, then had Warren to the Suns but with the 18th, and McGary to the Thunder but at 29 instead of 21. Besides that I hit Russ Smith being drafted by Philly in the 2nd round (though he was later traded)…all in all not great, but not bad either.

moochieeParticipantI think this will be my best mock draft yet in terms of score.
I got 7 picks correct in the lottery, but then nothing else for the rest of the mock
1 – Wiggins
2 – Parker
3 – Embiid
6 – Smart
7 – Randle
13 – Lavine
14 – Warren
Second round was a lot of close misses. Had Inglis at 32 and McDaniels at 33 (Both 1 off). Then had Gentille at 54 and Dangubic at 53, and they ended up going in reverse order.
