How come it hasn’t happened yet? If you’re Orlando, you can take back Elton Brand (FA after next year), Lou Williams, Evan Turner, and a couple picks back. Other then the Bynum deal, that’s pretty good for Dwight. If you’re Dwight, you go to a team with Iguodala and Holiday. In the East, Philly is nice enough to contend with CHI, this move would put them over the top IMO.

If I am Orlando I am going after Holiday, Young, Brand($$), Williams, and picks. I am also not going to give up Howard for Williams and Evan Turner-garbage.

That’s cool, you can throw Thad Young into the deal as well. I don’t think PHI gives up Holiday to be honest, I think they’d be much more happier with giving up Turner.

I get what your saying, they can either get something or nothing and Lou, Thad, Turner and a pick is better then getting nothing and it decimating the franchise even more.

I agree that Philly offers one of the best combinations of assetts to Orlando while still keeping together a team strong enough to contend with Dwight in the fold.

I’d do a trade involving Holiday, Thad, Vucevic, Brand, and 1st round picks.  In Collins’ system it’s impossible really tell how good some of these players are because all their stats are going to be down because they move the ball so much nobody get’s many shots.  Iggy made the All Star team and is averaging like 17ppg for his career but is only averaging 12 ppg this year because that’s the way we play.

So it become really hard to evaluate the younger talent like Holiday, Turner, Young, and Vooch because they’re not going to put up numbers, you would have to do something really extreme like watch them play to know how good they are.

And since Philly is the 4th largest media hub in the country Howard would surely get a chance to promote his "brand name."

This be an interesting trade for the Sixers too and would allow Turner to finally start at PG where he’s more natural.

Nelson and D12 for Brand, Turner, (Hawes or Vucevic), (Williams or Holiday), and Picks

Davis and Turk for Maggette and Diop

Philly: they take D12’s best friend who’s contract expires next year

    Nelson – Meeks – Iggy – Young – D12

from trade – free agent – Brackins – Allen – from trade

Orlando: suck for 1 year and go crazy on free agent bigs

from trade – Turner – Maggette – Brand – from trade

    Duhon – Richardson – Richardson – Anderson – Ort on/ Diop

Charlotte: they need scoring from the 2 and help at the 3

    Walker – Henderson – Turk – Davis – Biyombo

    Augustin – Carrol – Williams – Thomas – Mullins

Good point about Nelson Philly would def welcome Nelson back home especially if they traded away Holiday in the trade.

Because Dwight has given no indication he’d re-sign there.  Philly isn’t giving up all that talent for a half-year of Howard and unless he adds them to his list…

Well obviously Philly wouldn’t do this trade without some sort of agreement that Howard would resign here, and this is nothing more then pipe dreaming anyway because I don’t think Dwight is going to get traded before the deadline and if he does, the Sixers aren’t going to be in the running for unknown reasons.

If he became a free agent tho it becomes a very slim possibility that he changes his mind on Jersey and gives Philly a look.  Philly would be able to clear enough cap room by amnestying Brand and would be able to pair Howard with basically the same team from this year sans Brand and add Howard which would be a great fit to an already elite defensive team.  I truly believe a lineup of Holiday, Turner, Iggy, Vuceciv, Howard, with Lou Williams and Thad off the bench and Doug Collins coaching is enough to make a serious run to the Finals.

Obviously, but that’s not how trades work. They would be much happier trading Andres Nocioni than Andre Igudola also. Problem is, then the other team doesn’t wanna do business with you.

All the trades you mentioned would never happen. You’re crazy if you think you could even get Orlando to pick up the phone if you aren’t offering Jrue Holiday.

If I’m Dwight, I’d rather play with Marshon, Morrow, Deron, and Draft pick X than Philly.  Those shooters around Howard with that point – the team is tailor made for him.
