Id take tyreke in a heartbeat 2 be honest…his combination of size, athletcism and scoring prowes is to much not to take….like to average 20-5-5 as a rook puts him in elite company. I think he is a guy who will average 25-5-6 for the next 12 years

Give me Brandon Jennings….He’s the purest PG on that list (yes…more than John Wall) and he has the ability to also be a 20 ppg scorer. I think he can be the 3rd or 4th best PG in the NBA by 2011-2012. He’s also one of my favorites for M.I.P, even after the great season he had last year.

Curry. Highly efficient. Great guy off the court. Very cerebral and hard working. Already one of the top shooters in the league. Good passer and an underrated defender and rebounder to boot. Capable of 40 minutes per game as well.

Honestly in his prime I think Curry is capable of 24 PPG, 8 APG, 5 RPG, 2.2 SPG, 45% 3pt shooting and 92% FT shooting.

I’m takin brandon jennings because he understand what a pg is 2 his team he’s been playin this position his whole life unlike some of the other guys on this list who r makin the transition n r still learning..He’s entertainin will get fans n the seat 2 watch him play he’s very confident in his game and is a very hard worker..tyreke is a lose 2nd love his game also but brandon is aa better playmaker @ the pg

Im takin Brandon jennings i remember when i first saw him play when he was in oak hill the game came on espu he was throwing unbelivable passes he still had 42 points and i knew then he was going to be very good this guy can score with the best of him and his work ethic is out of this world he understands the position and know what he has to do to be great he’s a very good defender when he wants to and his crossovers are fast hell his shooting percentages went down as the year went he on because he likes to get in the paint and he wasnt use to playing players that are athletic and bigger than him but i promise you he will have a great yer next yrear and is my vote for M.I.P and he will be fun to watch for years.

Evans is more of a SG, although he can play the Point. I’d take Jennings. He’s gonna have a breakout year next year

I don’t think Jennings is as pure of a point that everyone thinks he is. No doubt he has some nice passing ability and a penchant for highlight reel passes but he’s still a shoot first player. He really needs to work on his PG skills. His shot selection the 2nd half of the year and playoffs was horrendous. He doesn’t seem to have a trigger in his head telling him to stop shooting when he’s cold and become a facilitator. I hate saying this because he has all the potential in the world to be an Allstar guard but I believe the Bucks would have beat the Hawks in the first round if they had more steady Point guard play. After having a great game 1 everything went down hill. Game 2 he was an attrocious 3-15 from the field finishing with 9 points and only 2 assists. Game 5 he was 8-20 from the field with only 2 assists. Game 6 he as 4-15 from the field, 1-9 from the 3 point line and had only 1 assist. Game 7 he was 6-18 from the field. You just can’t have this kind of a play from your PG. A PG should never shoot his team out of a game. If his shot isn’t falling he needs to learn how to start facilitating. For as great as he was the first half of the year he was equally bad the 2nd half of the year. I don’t think people realize how trigger happy he was last year and how his production dipped consistently as the year went on and teams keyed in on him. I mean look at some of his shooting performances after the allstar break, 6-18, 2-12, 12-28, 4-17,8-23. 37% from the field and only 5.7 apg is not really acceptable for an allstar caliber guard. He definitely has potential to be very good but I think people overrate his season last year because of the 55 point game at the start of the season against the Warriors.

I like Lawsons ability to lead a team..he’s done it throughout his career. He’s a proven winner of every level, and when he gets his chance he’s gonna step up. He makes the people around him better, which is what a PG and leader of a team should do.
