IKNOWEVERYTHING23ParticipantIF CP3 IS FIRST THEN ARMON JOHNSON SHOULD BE IN THE TOP 5. IF YOU LOOK AT HIS GAMES AGAINST THE MAJORITY OF YOUR TOP TEN P.G’S HE HAS HAD VERY STRONG GAMES AGAINST PAUL, NASH, ROSE, WILLIAMS, WESTBROOK, AND HIS BEST GAME PROBABLY CAME AGAINST JENNINGS. HE IS A VERY UNDERRATED PLAYER BUT I BELIEVE HE WILL BE IN THE RUNNING FOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR THIS SEASON.
1. CP3
2. STEVE NASH

4. RAJON RONDO
5. DERON WILLIAMS

IndianaBasketballParticipant1a. Chris Paul – He’s a complete point guard, who also just happens to be blessed with unique talent. He’s a great leader too.
1b. Deron Williams – He’s also a complete point guard, who’s powerfully built and steps up during big moments.
—
3. Steve Nash – 50, 40, 90 and 10 assists. He’s still, arguably, the best at making his teammates better. He’s steps up during crunch time, whether it’s making a shot or pass. IF I could play with any point guard, I’d play with him.
—
4. Derrick Rose – It wasn’t his personality to be the number one guy, but he’s accepted it and ran with it. He’s a great scorer and closer, while also being an underrated passer and playmaker. He’s not the all-around player or defender that Rondo and Westbrook are, but I’ll still give him the edge since he’s shown he can lead his team to the playoffs as the number one guy. Let’s see how much of a better player Boozer makes him.
5. Rajon Rondo – He can’t shoot and isn’t a very good scorer, but that isn’t his job on the Celtics. That’s why it’s such a perfect fit. He just has to defend, help on the glass (then push the ball) and distribute the ball to the old veterans. He just does his job and I can’t think of too many other point guards that do their jobs as amazingly as he does.
6. Russell Westbrook – He’s a high energy and active all around guard who’s still learning to make the right decisions as a point guard. He’s improved his jumpshot, while still being fearless attacking the rim. He’s a great sidekick for Kevin Durant.

NYK2010Participant1-Dwill, most consistent and wins every year.
2-CP3, gotta see him do it in the playoffs to move him to the top spot, nice start to the season.
3- Rondo, how can Rondo not be top 4 look what he did in the playoffs & 5 asts more a game than anyone.
4-Nash, age and lack of defense are the only negatives, the best shooter and a great passer too.
5-Rose, great scorer with his athleticism, his assts are up there too now. Just needs a 3pt shot.
6-Parker, the ats, scoring, fg% are all up, lets see if he can stay healthy.
7-Westbrook, 7.7 asts a game but needs a consisten jumper and 3pt shot if he’s going to be All NBA.
8-Wall, he has it all when he gets a consistent jumper he’ll be #1 eventually.
9-Curry, 6th steals nice shot and improved play.
10-Billups, getting older his numbers are done across the board, could’ve put Kidd here with 10ast a game.
No Tyreke Evans I have him him at SG with Udrih at PG.

mikeyvthedonParticipantHe says if CP3 is ranked first than Armon Johnson should be in the top 5. Than he ranks Chris Paul first and Armon Johnson 6th, lol. My rankings were on my top 10 post, and I am sure they will change as the season goes on. I have learned that you learn more about players as the season goes on and that certain players, no matter how much they may have been ingrained in your mind as being lesser to others, can indeed surpass them over time. I used to be as loyal to my rankings as I was to my favorite players or teams, but that no longer makes sense. So, my rankings will change as the season progresses.

NYK2010ParticipantCP3 did well in the playoffs one year, check out his stats against Billups 2 years ago in the playoffs.
DWill has done well in the playoff every year and for comparison to Paul look at his stats against Billups in the playoffs last season.

dolla130Participantmy top ten
1.A-Chris Paul – he’s back, his stats might not say hes better then deron but his leadership and playmaking are 2nd to none and his teams record proves that he turns chicken shit into chicken salad
1.B-Deron Williams i gave paul the edge because he is a better leader and playmaker but he is 1B on my list
3-Derrick Rose – he is closing the gap between him and the two i listed above he is not on there level yet, without boozer the bulls are 6-3 and he is damn near avg a double double with 24 ppg and 9 apg while shooting 47% from the field and 34% from the 3
4-Rajon Rondo -His apg numbers dont lie but IMO rondo is a star compliment player
5-Steve Nash- because of his ave hes gonna continue to slip down the list
6-russel westbrook – good all around player but not really a pg more like a athlete that plays pg
7-tony parker
8-devin harris
9-chauncey billups
10-tyreke evans/brandon jennings/ steph curry
11- John Wall- creeping up on guys really fast
