TarHeelRavenParticipantI think I remember reading somewhere, I don’t remember if it wa an article or a post here but someone said in terms of confidence, Chalmers is a top 5 PG, in terms of talent, he’s like in the 20’s in the NBA. I can imagine that playing with Chalmers might be a challenge sometimes, maybe similar to Rajon Rondo. I don’t know much about Chalmers except that he won a national championship with Kansas in 08 hitting that huge shot at the end versus Memphis. I’m just guessing that Chalmers can sometimes be a hot head and can get very overconfident sometimes. He’s a great fit in Miami because he can run the show with Wade, James and Bosh and not have to be the man. I have a feeling that Chalmers is a perfect punching bag for his teammates and opponents.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantLOL..Last year Chalmers said he felt he was a top 10 pg..Nothing wrong with having confidence in your game..He’s a great compliment to Wade…I dont think he’s even top 15 or top 20…..But when he’s on his game,it makes the Heat even more harder to beat..But there are times like last night that he loses focus and forgets plays………

GrandmamaParticipantChalmers is always getting yelled at, I find it funny as hell. Here’s one of the ones I remember pretty well.

Ghost01ParticipantChalmers is in the high 20s in terms of talent.
He is pretty much bad at everything offensively except being an above average 3 point shooter. He’s good defensively but that’s because he gambles a lot with LeBron and crew behind him. Swap his career with say Jimmer Fredette’s in terms of teams drafted by, and he’s probably struggling to stay in the league.

Mr. HookShotParticipantKnowing that he is a unrestricted free agent next year, I wonder if any other team will offer him significant money (means around 6 a 7 milion a year?). Sure, he is at best the fourth option for this Miami team, but given his championship experience he might get a nice sum. Any guesses about where and how much?

XYRYXParticipantI said it before that I see his career similar to Derek Fishers.
For the younger guys on here Fish once was a very good defender, a leader and always a good shooter. He never was very good distributing the basketball but with Wade and Bron or Kobe and Shaq back then you don’t need someone like Rondo who needs the ball in his hands often to set his teammates up.
Chalmers might not be so lucky to be on contending teams his whole career like Fisher did and may end up as a 7th / 8th man not to far in the future if this Miami team may fall apart in the near future but right now he is a pretty good fit if you ask me.
