GrandmamaParticipantIt’s always good to see players realize their weaknesses (literally) and try to improve on them in the off-season. Adding weight/strength will only make George a better player. He will become a better post player, and will help him finish in traffic.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThere’s a video on youtube of him doing a 360 windmill at the Drew League. He looks like he’s gained about 5-10 lbs of muscle already…
With this added strength, guys like LeBron and Melo won’t be able to bully him down on the block as much. There’ll be no doubts he’s the best wing defender in the NBA this upcoming season.
He gets better every season.

festar35ParticipantThis sounds all good to me, as long as he doesn’t bulk to much as his athleticism should remain at an elite level.
I feel that his PPG will not go up much if he manages to improve in this area, but his FG% should increase and hopefully it means he forces less threes a game.
He still has to work on that handle of his as well to get it a bit tighter, I have no doubt he knows exactly what he is doing and look forward to seeing what improvement he is able to make going into next season and even as early as FIBA Championships.
