valentineDo you think Patrick Ewing will ever get a head-coaching position in the NBA?
He has several years experience in the NBA as an assistant, and has generally been part of successful situations.
This includes at the Orlando Magic during the SVG/Dwight Howard era and most recently at Charlotte, where he has helped turn the franchise around.
He had a Hall-Of-Fame playing career and seems to be well liked amongst fans and within the league and appears very professional.
So why doesn’t he get more consideration for Head Coach positions? Thoughts?

JoeWolf1He’s Charlotte’s associate head coach, meaning he’s pretty much #2 in command. Ewing coached a couple games when Steve Clifford had to miss a few games last season with health issues. Patrick’s rise has been slow, but I think he’ll get a shot eventually.

prophetmeirParticipantHis Public speaking is not all that well and I think that has hindered him more than anything. He should still get a shot.
