I guess right now it’s just a rumor.  I like Granger, but if the Pacers can get all that he’s gone yesterday.

Micheal Beasley, Ricky Rubio and the #2 pick for Danny Granger and probably a future pick is a good deal.

If you’re the Wolves, why include Rubio in that deal? Beasley and the #2 seems like enough for Granger.

Nevermind Rubio — I would move Granger for Kanter alone.

I don’t see how that makes sense for either team. The Wolves don’t need another SF. Trading for Granger would only make them now play Wes Johnson out of position again. Not only that but their 2 real needs(PG+C) are huge holes now that you can’t take Kanter at #2 and now that you’ve traded Rubio. I don’t like that for them at all. As for the Pacers they are a high IQ high character basketball team. Not sure why you’d want to replace a scorer like Granger with a guy like Beasley. Plus they are happy with Collison so Rubio doesn’t make much sense. Getting Kanter would definitely help though. The trade favors the Pacers but really I don’t like the move much for either team.

If Beasley were to go to Indiana for Granger he would not function right at all. It would be too much competition between him George, Jones, & Rush at the #3 spot.

    – Losing leadership and experience with moving Granger. I think they can command Rubio if they throw in a 2012 1st.

I would move Granger for Kanter alone.

    – Indiana would LAUGH, then hang up the phone.

Beasley’s confidence is at an all-time HIGH right now on the court. I think if he gets dealt elsewhere we may see the B-Easy from Miami. He loves his team & supporting cast he has around him with Love anchoring the team.

Why would the wolves trade for a SF? Plus, they’d need to ask for Collison back if they include Rubio in the deal.

I think that Collison would be part of the deal if they ask for Rubio. I have checked a couple of other sites and they say that Collison, Granger for Beasley, Rubio and 2nd Pick.

Can someone also tell me how people get a hold of this information? I have always found it curious that this info gets out.

Khan is going for the worst gm in the history of the nba. He is trying to be quickest one to recive the honor. He has made bad decision after bad decision. I can only name one good move, and that was love for mayo, and the jury is still out on that one. The only other one was not his magic, it was because the heat needed to dump salary, and gifted him beasley. I can not explain why he gave Darko 20 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No other team would have given him even ten, and some would hesitate at five. About Indiana, if they pull it off with Rubio in the deal, they officialy become the next Atlanta Hawks. (Sneak in to the playoff with 30-somthing wins, give the number one some trouble, then get better for two  years, until the third, when you realize that you are locked in to 2nd round defeats for five years.)

Pacers are a team on the rise, why would they mess with the chemistry they have going and trade there best player?

Id rather have Beasly and Williams over Granger. I doubt Rubio will be included.

Rush plus Granger for number two and Wesley Johnson.  They get vets and fill some needs.  I am thinking Rubio comes over.  I think Indy is not as high on Granger because they may feel he peaked and they are kind of young outside of him.  Kanter could feel the need at 4 and Wesley Johnson can replace Granger to some degree.  Beasley may not like it but then again he could be moved.

I would do a trade of Beasley and 2nd for Granger. Pacers could then have a line-up of

PG. Collison SG. George SF. Beasley PF. Williams/Kanter C. Hibbert 6th. Hansbrough + Free Agent signing spounds like a team with a bright future.

I highly doubt that this happens.  Why would the Wolves trade two young players that are potential building blocks and the #2 pick for a 28 year old that led his team to the 8 seed in a far weaker Eastern Conference?  The Wolves were the worst team in the league this year, it’s not like they are close to competing, let alone anywhere close to the playoffs.  I don’t think Danny Granger is going to put them over any hump.  If this happens, I will personally drive down to the Target Center and kick David Kahn’s ass.

Dumb trade. Pacers just made playoffs and look to have a nice group of players. They have no real NEED for Rubio, as they seem to like collison(who fits better), Granger is better than Beasley who is by no means a winner, and the #2 in a draft where they would probably take Williams(Beasley 2.0). I’d say stick with team as is and hope Tristan T or the less likely Biyambo fall to the 15th pick. The only way you trade Granger is if it’s with another young player or 2 for a legit 2nd or 1st option.
