JCliff24ParticipantMaybe all these rumors have cause me to get a bit crazy but I couldnt help thinking WHAT IF.
Cavs are "somewhat interested" in the Magics offer of Affalo, #4, and #12.
We know Milwaukee loves Exum.
We know Philly is after Wiggins.
Nbadraft.net has Exum going 6.
So WHAT IF:
Cleveland takes the deal and Orlando draft Wiggins. Milwaukee drafts parker and Philly is left with Embiid/Exum and they take Embiid. Exum is there at 4. What if the Bucks traded Parker to the Cavs for 4 and 12 to land Exum and add another lottery pick.
If all the cards fell right could the Cavs land affalo and Parker or have I read one too many blogs and lost my sh*t?

xJumpManxParticipantIf and big if they trade the pick its to the team that drafts Embiid. We all know the trade would not happen until aftert the picks anyways. I think Sixers will man up and offer 3 and 10 and Young.

JCliff24ParticipantI may be misunderstanding you, so I apologize if thats the case but are you suggesting Philly is going to give up 3,10, and Thad Young to draft Embiid?

xJumpManxParticipantCavs would drafdt wiggins, sixers would draft embiid. The Cavs would send Wiggins to sixers and Phiully would send Embiid and #10 pick with Young for Wiggins.

who would have already taken Wiggins, so Wiggins to philly, and Embiid, 10 and thad are in Cleveland.

burgessfourParticipantrumors are true I don’t think Parker & Affalo is that great of a haul for the top pick, unless Parker is the guy they really want, then it’s genius………..I seriously doubt Philly offers 3, 10 and Thad unless more than just the top pick is coming back, maybe one or two of Waitors, Bennett, Thompson.

xJumpManxParticipantIts already beiung reported the Cavs do not like Utahs offer. If you look at it closely it does not make much sense for the Cavs.

burgessfourParticipantgoing from 1 to 5 even with the other pieces likely doesn’t work for the Cavs if they want to stay in the top 3. To me that’s just more reason the Sixers shouldn’t need to part with 3, 10 and Thad for 1. Just my opinion. Hinkie is in asset "collection" mode, he knows the Sixers can’t give up 3 strong assets, even for Wiggins.

MattP31ParticipantIf the Sixers want to get creative, see last night’s ESPN mock with Ford and Goodman. Sixers dealt #10(McDermott) to Chicago for 16 and 19. Sixers then send 3, 19, Young to Cleveland for Wiggins.
In my mind that’s a fair compromise to 3 and 10(Cavs asking) and 3 and Young(Sixers offer) in a draft pool where 19 is a bigger asset than normal drafts. Bigger question here is if Chicago is still interested in trading up(see where they tried to trade up to 11/12 in recent weeks) now that LeBron and Melo opted out officially

burgessfourParticipantI agree, that’s a great compromise and I think a very fair deal for both sides. Also, if Chicago needs to rid themselves of 16 & 19 and a salary or 2 I’m sure Philly would accommodate them.
