Is anyone watching this game? James Anderson is putting on a shooting clinic. he has 15 points of the team’s 29.

Yeah, I’m watching it, I’ve always thought he was one of the most under-rated players in this draft. Someone on here compared him to Shandon Anderson, which i agree with as far as size and the fluidity of his game, but Anderson has some serious range and I think could be a 10-15 point a game scorer in the NBA as a 6-7th man and or part time starter.

I don’t know what his defense is like, but he makes me think of Stephen Jackson on the offensive end he can just do it all. He can drive, shoot the 3, mid-range, finish around the rim. Not much more you can ask for.

I made that Shanon Anderson comparison lol. But I think Anderson is a ridiculous scorer. He has 3-point range, a good mid-range game, improved (although not great) handles, and can post up and score. He also is a tough on ball defender. I think he’s a very underrated player and prospect who could be a good scorer in the NBA.

Tommy Mason-Griffin continues to do his best Jameer Nelson imitation. He’s really stepped up for this conference slate. He has to with Warren (sick) and Gallon (suspended) out

Yeah, Mason-Griffin is really playing well lately in Big 12 play. His size wiill prevent him from coming out this year, but if he were 6’2” he could maybe be considered a 1 and done guy. I think he is a cross between Nelson and Sherron Collins.

Another 3 for Anderson, wow, you can tell he’s fired up, he got banged up in their first meeting and had to sit out and play hurt their first matchup and as soon as he went out OSU lost their 9 point( ish) lead and lost in OT. He is playing with a vengence!

Oh yeah, he is playing with that vengence. I like Mason-Griffin I think he is a much better player than Willie Warren, more disciplined.

agreed, Warren has had major trouble adjusting to being the main player on his team this year, especially since they lack experience in the post. Mason-Griffin has shown leadership and picked up the slack for Warren for sure. Anderson on the other hand has been the main man at OSU since he got there as a freshman, sure Eton scored a lot last year, but it was evident Anderson was the future of that program for the next couple years a few games into his freshman year and he hasn’t disappointed.

If you see Anderson going to the NBA after this season, how high do you think he can go in the draft?? I still love Dominique Jones, but Anderson fits the SG position better because of his size. I also think Anderson is a better SG than Xavier Henry would be in the NBA because of Anderson’s ability to score from anywhere on the court.

I remember when Anderson was just a shooter who you could crowd and he was less effective. Now he’s worked on his handle enough to get to the rim in straight lines without a problem and crossing over for jumpers. He’s improved a bunch since his freshman year.

knicksfan7 -I think Anderson is gonna leave and I think he’d be a 17-25 pick, I agree with you about Henry, Anderson is very complete right now, and Henry could use another year of college for sure, he settles for 3’s and doesn’t have the mid range game or leadership qualitites Anderson has right now.

Iggy-Yeah, he has, he has bulked up too, he has perfect size for an NBA shooting guard, and an extremely balanced overall game.

i doubt if tommy comes out but he is very good. his size will be a isse any year he come sout not just this year since he probably wont grow anymore. he’s definatly better then bledsoe though. james anderson is a beast. he can get buckets on anyone and he does it in one of the best conferences in the nation. im not sure why fans dont give himmuch respect but im guessing its because they dont see him much since the ones who get the most respect are the ones that are either seen or talked about the most on sports center
