LazarusMunozParticipantJust an absolutey brutal way to the end that game…This should be the hammer to Roger Goodel’s head that lockout with the refs needs to end

aamir543ParticipantRidiculous, insult to the game of football, if this were the NBA I’d be ranting all over the forum, a coplete disgrace, get the normal guys back, that was complete BS. Green Bay got robbed. Don’t want to take anything away from Seattle because they played an amazing game and were so close to actually winning, but this isn’t even funny anymore. This is like refusing to pay a Math teacher his money so instead you replace him with a C- student, unbelievable.
And I’m pretty sure if I tried to tell you this 15 days ago you would’ve reported me to a mental assylum: Kevin Kolb has just as many wins this season through 3 weeks as Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers COMBINED.

LipstickParticipantPretty epic how Goodell turned the league into a laughing stock and lost all his leverage at the negotiation tables all in a span of a few weeks

BasterdInABasketParticipantI hope I’m not the only one boycotting the NFL. Im a Packer fan and will continue to watch and root for Green Bay but I have no respect for the NFL and won’t be watching games other than GB. The refereeing the entire season has been a joke but this puts it over the top for me. No consistency at all, terrible calls on both sides for both teams all season long, sorry just venting my disbelief and frustrations..

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDid Bob Arum hire these refs?

MkadozaParticipantAs long as you watch any game, these refs will continue to officiate.
Roger Goodel has lost no leverage, because viewership is actually up across the board. As long as people continue to tune in, the NFLRA has lvery little leverage.

ph90702Lipstick: Goodell isn’t losing any leverage until the NFL and their sponsors’ pocket books are affected. That is why a boycott is necessary.

Jlv2012The NFL’s negotiations with the refs will potentially affect the league for years to come. I don’t think Goodell or the owners really care about one regular season game in week 3. They will just absorb the criticism and the damage to the league’s image. Sucks to watch the NFL though, just give the refs their money already.
