sammybuckeye13ParticipantSince he matched for Gortat last summer, I’ve been wondering if Otis Smith knows that if a team makes an offer for an unrestricted free agent you’re not actually obligated to match

RickyRubio9ParticipantJeez, I hate this. I really do, I wanted Redick on the Bulls.
I figured Q-Rich being signed meant Redick was good to go for Chi-Town.0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/15/2010 - 5:12pm #355117

Toronto16ParticipantSo is Vince being traded?

zha123ParticipantI think the magic and JJ are the perfect fit and im happy they matched the offer. He has improved athletically and as always his shot if amazing. I think he is maturing into a very valuable asset for the magic if they want to make another title run

The8thDeadlySinParticipantThis could be a blessing in disguise for the Bulls.. Now they can chaise a guy that doesnt play exactly like Korver..

IndianaBasketballParticipantDefinitely a blessing in disguise for the Bulls and a head scratcher for the Magic.
Hopefully the Bulls go out and sign Ronnie Brewer… A physical/athletic guard that can defend.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI think that’d be smart. Reddick can shoot, but he can’t defend Dwayne Wade, Joe Johnson, Vince Carter or John Salmons… Brewer can though.

Chicago1980ParticipantI understand why they went after reddick but i also dont understand since he and korver play exactly the same i am actually glad that orlando matched the offer and hes not going to the bulls like someone said before i would rather have ronnie brewer he can defend and he slashes to the basket and he can hit a 15 foot jumper. But it looks as though the bulls are trying to turn into the chicago jazz which isnt good because they dont advance in the playoffs but we shall see.

marcusfizer21ParticipantLovin’ ur pic man… Was that Reggie taunting the Knicks???LOL
I am actually glad that the Magic matched JJ Redick’s offer… I honestly think that he and Korver play the same position… I’d even prefer a guy like Anthony Morrow than those 2… But adding a piece like Ronnie Brewer would be solid but just like Chicago said, the Bulls might turn into Chicago Jazz which is a good playoff team but not enough to compete among the elite… I would have loved to see them get someone in a major trade… The biggest risk Gar Forman took was sending Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick for a bunch of coins… I think it didn’t pay off well…

Chicago1980ParticipantYoure right marcusfizer21 that hinrich trade didnt go as well as the bulls thought it would who is their back up PG now anyway but it would be nice to see ronnie brewer in chicago i like his game and i think it will fit the bulls system.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantSo how long before the Vince Carter to the Clippers rumors hit ESPN?
The Bulls would be better off coming away with Rudy Fernandez and Ronnie Brewer even if it means throwing a pick at Portland.
