d-ravParticipantAssuming Joe Johnson does the nasty (yet again; the Suns beforehand) on the Hawks to find better money, what options are in consideration for Atlanta to fill his void? Would maybe the free agent signing of John Salmons (poor man’s JoeJo), along with the probable re-signing of Josh Childress, as well as recent draftee Jordan Crawford be enough? Or would it depend on who they can acquire through sign and trade( i.e; with Knicks; Wilson Chandler and David Lee)?

JNixonParticipantI don’t know exactly what they’ll do, but they need to address the C position and get toughness down low to handle Howard and the Bogut’s in the East.

BasterdInABasketParticipantWell theyre already off to a good start by firing woodson so theyll probably run an actual offense now not 48 minutes of one on one isolation.
And yes they do need a banger down low but those arent easy to come by.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/30/2010 - 7:39am #344140
mamadouParticipantFor me Salmons is written all over the hawks since 2 months but who knows.
In my opinion, there’s no starter in the backcourt actually, bibby’s done, Teague unproven, the crawfords are only instant offense players(and redundant) from the bench.
I also take a chance on Livingston who was 15,5 – 6,5 – 3,5 in april with solid FG percentage(63%), he’s still 24YO…0 - AuthorPosts
