 Whats your opinion on the trade that send joe smith to lakers, t-will to rockets, and sasha and two first rd picks to new jersey?

I think lakers really wanted a big because phil has been complaining about playing pau too much.

New Jersey and t-will had issue, so a fresh start will be good for him.

New Jersey gets a shooter and hard worker. I think he is a solid player.

If Nets are smart they would use those picks to move up in the draft and get another stud.  Melo will not got turn and even if he does it does not make the team anything but a 6th or 7th seed which  New York is already.  Melo would make them a 4th  or 5th seed and possibly 3rd seed when Boston gets too old.

Lakers first round pick is too close to being a 2nd round pick that Lakers would have to pay someone gurateed which Lakers do not like to do.  Smith will give them front court help.  Vujacic was not even playing anymore.  I guess he will not get his 3rd ring.

2. New Jersey – Williams wasn’t working out, so they flipped him into two first round picks (which they’ll be able to use in a trade… let’s see how protected the pick from Houston is). I like Avery Johnson’s approach… He’s getting rid of the knuckle heads.

3. Houston – They pick up Terrence Williams. I don’t really see how he helps the team. Overrated to me.

if i knew houston was gonna make the playoffs, i wouldnt mind the trade for them. But since its the 2012 draft pick, we dont know whats gonna be happening in houston that year. WIth yao being injured and brooks coming up on free agency and the fact they arent looking like a playoff team right now, they could be a lottery pick they sent to new jersey.
