Check out this SI story.  Jonathan Isaac played 4 years of high school ball from 2011-2015, and then "took a fifth year of high school" at IMG academy in Florida.  Because the NBA states that a player must be one year out of high school and 19 in the calendar year of the draft, Isaac believes that he is eligible for the 2016 draft.  Apparently his year of graduation is 2015, and it seems like he did graduate last year and has taken a "postgraduate" year at IMG.

Because the new NCAA rules allow a prospect to go to the NBA combine, and one NBA workout, and then still return to college with full eligibility, I wouldn’t be surprised to see more kids do what Isaac is doing.  It also depends on how the NBA interprets the year of graduation.  If Isaac truly graduated and got a diplom in 2015, I don’t see how the NBA could say that his year of graduation is 2016.  If this works out for Isaac, expect  more kids to do the same.  Just the latest on the one and done drama.

I did not realize thta there was already a thread about this…  FWIW – Jonathan Givony is tweeting this morning that Isaac is not eligible for the draft.  Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
