his defense was crazy and he lead college basketball in assist the year he left. I always have love for those point guards that didn’t quite make it, Scoonie Penn, Ed Cota, Eric Barkley, Omar Cook. It’s amazing Telfair made it this long, I would have him in that same class.
He had this way of beating guys to a spot and using his foreman, holding it close to his body, and not letting past him. He made a former D-Leaguer and over sea player, Chet Mason (Miami of Ohio) get like 5 straight 10 second violations in a AAU game back in the day.

Im from montenegro and i was totally shocked when i saw him on their team. I dont know if he speaks it or not but he played in Serbias league.

Montenegro has got a pretty nice team developing now with Cook at 1. They also have Nikola Pekovic of TWolves and Vucevic of 76ers. Thats two legit big men. They have Predrag Drobnjak who played in the NBA for a couple years. They also have Vladimir Dasic a young guy that had been in the 2nd round on a mock a year or 2 back. Lastly what could make them really good is if Nikola Mirotic decided to play for them. Hes playing currently for Spains U20 team but he could still convert to Montenegro team. He was the 23rd pick last year but had lottery talent with contract issues holding him back a bit
