 Anyone think John Wall could sneak up and may get some consideration?  I mean, I know offensively he’s a little wild but he is a willing passer, has tremendous speed, will play strong defense, and being around guys like LeBron, Durant, and etc will only make be an experience that has a positive impact on his development. He doesn’t have to be a starter but if he could cause havoc in a 12-15 minute run and be a facilitator, I wouldn’t mind seeing that.

I dont think it changes anything actually… Westbrook,Rose,and Williams is plenty of PG for Team USA

It probably opens a spot for either Griffin,Love,or maybe Gordon

 I don’t think you can leave Westbrook off the team, he played very well last time he was in the Olympics and this year he’s arguably been the best PG in the league.

CP3 has the job. Williams likely the backup. I’d like to see Rondo over Westbrook as a third option, but can you really go wrong either way?

and out of all of the players invited to camp only 3 pgs are still healthy. So by defalt it will be CP3 D-Will and Westbrook.

I would not be surprised to see Westbrook kept as the third option. Paul and Rondo are both 26 and Williams is 27. Because Westbrook is only 23, he is a valuable option to keep, because he will only be 27 by the 2016 Olympics. The other three will be in their 30’s. I think Westbrook is more likely to be on the team, but i think when a PG averages 11-11 he deserves a spot, especially on a team that will have 4 players capable of scoing in bunches on the court at all times. It will come down to youth and scoring ability vs. a facilitator.

 it has to be westbrook. he is can shoot, rondo can’t shoot, shooting in the international game is pretty important, so you cant have rondo, plus rondo is more cocky than westbrook.

Rondo wasn’t one of the top 20 finalists and they are not adding players to that list even with the recent injuries.

We would rather have him healthy for the season. After a rough season like this one I think it’s going to be hard to get guys to play. They are going to need rest instead of a whole new season.

 Rondo proved why it should be westbrook over him. He got thrown out and gave the hawks 2 critical free throws at the worst time possible. Westbrook doesnt do dumb things like that
