Kurt Thomas

Jawon Howard

Grant Hill

Jason Kidd

Any others?

 Kidd and Hill into the league during the 1994 draft and won co-rookies of the year together. How many more years do Kidd and Hill have left?

 I think both Kidd and Hill have 2 more years in them. GHill looked better these las 3 years than he did since his first few years in the league.

 

I think Howard, Hill, and Kidd are the only players left from the class of 94, Garnett, theo Ratliff, Joe Smith, and Antonio McDyess all played this year and are from the class of 95, but KG’s likely the only one who will play next year.

Hill’s contract is up this year and I think that if there is a lockout he will retire, if not I still think he will retire or resign with the SUns for a veteran minimun.

As for Kidd I’m not to sure, there have been alot of reports he’ll retire if there’s a lockout but in my eyes he still can play ball, I think he may play into his forty’s.

As for Howard I think he’ll retire at the end of this season whether he wins a championship or not.

I’m not to sure about Thomas at all though, I’ll be interested in later posts in this topic.

Wow, I am also getting old, I remember that KG, Kobe, AI and T Mac were the superstars of the league. Now they are a couple years away from being the senior citizens of the league. But there are still a lot of players from the 96 draft class. Kobe, Ray, D fish, Illuguaskus, Stojakovic, Nash, Dampier, Marcus Camby, and Jermaine Oneal. Until acouple a years ago I thought these guys were still in their prime, then I came ot my senses and realized the only one is Kobe.

Kidd has stated that he has no intentions of retiring what so ever.  He still feels he can contribute to a team and I have to agree.

Isnt it Funny that Kurt Thomas is Playing Better now than when he 1st Entered the League? Maybe Samaki Walker should make a comeback…lol

I think both Kidd & Nash can play until they’re 41 and still be effective,becuz they understand how to play the game the right way and also they can contribute in more than 1 area of the game…

I heard that McDyess has said this might be his last season…

I’m feeling Old now,becuz i can remember when Jordan was a rookie….

 Kidd’s ability to make a difference without scoring a point is what makes him efficient even if he reaches 40 in the NBA… He still amazes me despite not constantly getting triple doubles anymore… I hope he gets a ring… He really deserves one…

 I have a lot of those guys’ from that era’s (94-97 draft class) rookie cards.  Too bad the card market fell off big time over the years.

A lot of old players in the league.

I think Steve Nash, even at 37 has a good 3 or 4 years left in him.
