RotelaParticipantJust in case you missed it, dude is definitely going to the league this year, no need for an extra year, still needs to work on his offensive game, but defensively I think he is up there with the best of them, so proud that he is from a Nigerian background, hopefully he can join up with the national team very soon. He’s looking like a Tony Allen type player right now, but his ceiling could be Andre Iguodala or James Posey , what do you all think ?

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantYeah it was great.. I think hes more D Wade/Tony Allen.. Doug Gottlieb was bashing Oladipo last night on twitter, idk why. Saying hes not an NBA rotation player and hes a d leaguer. Hes a Hater i guess haha. But this kid has a great work ethic and hes gonna be good once his offense comes along

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantDidn’t he say Kyle Anderson is the better prospect than Shabazz? Dude talks out of his ass I don’t listen to him

Dale WorthingtonParticipantGottlieb said, “Just finished watching IU vs UM again. I may have under estimated Oladipo, guy is a freak. Smaller Desmond Mason type..just competes.”
That’s high praise.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWe were in a bar here in New Orleans last night watching the game, when he did that dunk…Everyone in the joint jumped up and cheered, even people who were rooting for Michigan, were high fiving their friends afterwards.. It was incredible…
Oladipo deserves to be a 1st or 2nd team All American,he has played his way to being a mid 1st rounder to early 2nd round………But i wouldnt take him in the lottery…….Alot Indiana players have fooled alot of people into taking them much sooner then they should’ve gone……..

SiggyParticipantYour mock draft is interesting. You have Jamaal Franklin at 16. What makes Franklin a better prospect than Oladipo?

ProudGrandpaParticipantKey Word: “Missed”

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI think Franklin has more upside……..He might be 1 of those players whose stock raises after the workouts…

SiggyParticipantI don’t see how he could have more upside. Can’t be because he’s the better athlete. Oladipo’s younger, stronger, more physically developed, has a much higher bball IQ, is more skilled and plays a better, more impactful brand of basketball.
If Franklin is a mid first rounder then Oladipo’s lotto.0

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantHis stock will not be higher than victor, he still has no jumpshot and his offensive game is much rawer than oladipos

raybeasParticipantwould have resulted in a dunk. Maybe a less spectacular dunk, but still…
Oladipo should get looks from teams drafting outside the lottery. Mid to late first, maybe as low as early second.
I got blasted for calling him a poor man’s DWade, but i like the Iggy comparison better. He’s not as good a passer yet. If he can continue his improvement at the same pace as he has since his Freshman year, the sky is limit for him.0- Posted on: Sun, 02/03/2013 - 1:00pm #744263

raybeasParticipantMy bad. Hulls threw the bad pass. Yogi would have got it there

Sam_HinkieParticipantHe guarded 4 different players last night. The players he guarded scored a total of 4 points while he was guarding them. pretty impressive
