KarlitoParticipantWho’s the better prospect?
You should take into account pure talent and potential to reach in 3 or 5 years and not ANY team needs.
Who would you choose?

armchairgmParticipantOkongwu I think has the higher upside long term, but Avdija should be better right away.
I would go with Okongwu

OhCanada-ParticipantNo doubt I have Avdija here. Best case scenario Jayson Tatum imo. I like Okongwu, alot but I kind of feel like people are expecting too much from him. If the T-Wolves keep their pick I think Avdija is the best choice for them shortterm and longterm. I have him as the drafts 3rd best prospect behind Wiseman and Edwards.

armchairgmParticipantTo me Deni could be like Mike Miller and Okongwu could be like Bam Adebayo to me.

NorrinRaddParticipantI think Bam is a great ceiling for Okongwu. Mike Miller was a good player, but Avdija is a different player. He’s got more upside than say a Mike Miller had, even when he was a prospect. Avdija is a better creator/facilitator than Miller was, and Avdija is and underrated defender.
Who the better prospect is between Okongwu and Avdija is to be determined. I have them in the same draft tier myself. If I had to choose, it’s about which team is drafting which player.0

nbarelliParticipantI haven’t seen enough of Avdija but Okongwu is looking like he could turn into Bam.
