jerb2011ParticipantThe Thunder, who I love, have really started to dissappoint me recently with the games they have given up. They led by 19 and lost by 8 to the Bobcats, never had a lead against the acers and lost by 20, and tonight, they led by 12 against the Spurs and lost by 3. Also because the Spurs are tied with the Thunder im terms of wins and losses, winning today won the series for the Spurs and the Thunder are cuurntly the 7 seed in the playoffs and it will only get worse because their next 3 games are Houston, LA Lakers, and Portland. Kevin Durant is the only consistent player for this team, he had 45 points and still lost. Westbrook plays well but Green needs to add more bulk and develope a post game, he takes too many illadviced shot IMO, he could really be much better but he plays too soft like Kristic.I really hope they miss the playoffs now because they really need a big man, somebody who will get to the rim, and they won’t get that type of player in the 20s. The Thunder takes way too many jump shots and nobody is taking to the rim and everytime they lose a game it’s because the other team scores more points in the paint and has more rebounds/2nd chance opportunities. Westbrook tries but he is only 6’4″. If somebody big puts his hand up, it changes is shot and when he misses, nobody is physicall enough at their PF/C position to fight for the rebounds but Serge Ibaka, and I hate how light Nenad is he never plays the post and that is what they need. So in a nutshell, a C who can get to the rim, post players up, and rebound. Thety don’t need many shot attempts, but somebody who can play consistently because I really don’ty believe Byron Mullins will do that for him, he takes too many jumpshot, too. Feedback and other thought will be appreciated.

midwestbbscoutParticipantwe would all like to have a center that can post people up, get to the rim, and rebound…..life is cruel though…..so they will have to dry their tears with their multiple first round picks….season is a success regardless for them…..

BiggysmallsParticipantThey take way to many jump shots. NBA seasons are long, guys legs get tired, jump shots go away. They only have 3 good scorers. I know one is like a top 3 scorer in the League, but theres just not enough other options to get points. They dont have a big man who can control a game defensively, offensively, or on the glass.
They dont even need a dominant center, just a solid one. A brendan Haywood type of player. A guy who does dirty work, scores occasionally inside, rebounds, and defends. They are a very young team, and are only going to keep getting better. They have a good nucleus of talent. I think they are a steady realiable center and a solid spot up 3 point shooter away from really contending. Both are very attainable within the next offseason. But right now, they are too predictable.

TRC1991Participantnice comment above ^ except if cole aldrich has put up just pretty good numbers at kansas what makes u think he’ll be an effective NBA player..? he’s already hit his ceiling IMO

NashyMingParticipantI think they should just start Ibaka and let him takes over. He’s already better than Krstic.
I think OKC is fine, just a few bad games.
By the way, rumor saying that some OKC players went for a concert till late the night before playing against the Pacers. If that’s true, it can explain why they play so badly against the Pacers. So relax and enjoy the OKC playoff run. I actually think they have a good shot going 2nd round. A very scary team to play against for any team.

midwestbbscoutParticipantpeople didn’t think he was gonna be “serviceable” coming into Kansas and he proved how beast he was to them…..he has improved all 3 years drastically….he will be at worst a double digit rebound guy….

RUDEBOYThey have the money to go after a quality big man like Camby or Haywood..They have two 1st round picks …Maybe Ekpe Udoh or maybe Cole Aldrich drops to them..Aldrich’s not going to become a hall of famer..But they can use his shot blocking, rebounding and toughness inside….

fastdanParticipantDallas will probably Haywood’s birdrights to resign him, because that’s what Cuban does…and Camby will probably either stay with Portland or sign with a veteran team who has a legit shot to win it all next year, ala Cleveland after shaq retires, plus I don’t think Presti would sign an old guy like Camby for a quick fix when they clearly are thinking about the next ten years and developing their young guys.
Aldrich would fit perfectly into their team…he’s a proven winner with a high motor, good character and can rebound and defend in the paint…It’s scary to think that OKC is one of the best defensive teams in the league while having such a huge hole at the 5, which is probably the most important part of the defense.

Untouchable JParticipantAside from 4 or 5 teams, every team in the league would trade places with OKC
League leading scorer, budding top 3 PG, 1st round picks, AND Money??? Git this dumb a** thread outta here, just shows u cant please NOBODY these days SMH

PlatypusParticipantMaybe trade for Tyson Chandler, he doesnt take dumb shots because he cant make any except dunks and he can be a great rebounder and a good shot blocker like in NOH
