The Scare Crow RisesParticipantThis has to be one of the worst games to spotlight BUT it has been full of some LOL moments…
Hardaway flopping into Amare is one of the lowlights of the season for NY
McW got blocked by Jason Smith and Smith proceeded to stare him down and talk trash(McW has 25/6/6 at that point, Smith is a NBA scrub)
The whole Knicks bench is full of idiots(Trash talking McW for playing with a chip on his shoulder, I swear none of them want to be there)
Melo is being Melo, 20 points on 20 plus shots and not over powering these mediocre 76er squad…
Amare is a walking shell of his former self, he should retire or return to Phoenix, maybe he can be a Vet leader in the locker room type, IDK…he is finished!!!
The Knicks are actually winning this game and the 76ers are better off for it, they really need to rack up these L’s and stop trying TOO HARD to wins some meaningless games, I know we want to show some progression but C’mon man!!!
Hardaway is a complete waste of Space, No defense, lazy, a flopper and a chucker rolled into 1…
Jeremi Grant looks like a good energy guy but IDK what position he plays going forward, I really want him to become a Thad Young type but I’m really not sold yet…He has 6 blocks tonight BTW!!!
Furkan Aldemir started the game for the 76ers, that’s all you should need to know about my final thoughts…
The 2015 and 2016 Drafts can’t come soon enough…

drk3351ParticipantWhen I looked at the box score what stood out to me was Grant’s 8 blocks. Can’t wait for someone to upload the highlights on YouTube.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantGrant looks like an NBA player, I just don’t know if he’s a Sf or Pf(clearly he’s a skinny kid and can’t play Pf fulltime but he’s not skilled enough to play Sf at all)
I think Grant is learning from Mbah Moute on defense, he’s coming along in that department, he and Noel/Joel could be a nightmare blocking shots(Saric will need a few shot blockers around him)
McW really took it to the Knicks tonight, they had no real answer for him, I don’t want a game like this to get to his head though, I really want him to improve on the more nuanced facets to playing PG, he’s not going to be a 20 ppg guy when Embiid/Saric and Hezonja??? get rolling in a few years, Wroten could also be a force on Offense if he evers gets in the gym and fixes his jump shot(He needs Spurs level 3point training ASAP, in fact send the entire Team to San Antonio lol)
All in All, the losses are depressing but I really believe I what Hinkie is doing…I think the best analogy is building a house from the ground up, the foundation is being laid, a year from now we’ll see the house’s framework come to light, than in 2017 we will finally have 4 walls and a roof…It’s a long road to building a Championship caliber Team, we are at Step 2 of 20

billhayes7ParticipantCouldn’t agree more SCR. I know it was against the lowly Knicks, but I really like what I saw last night, and have seen with these young players. Grant is a defensive standout with that wingspan, KJ is developing a shot and can jump out of the gym, Noel is becoming a force defensively, and Covington could be a great outside shooter if we had a few more talented guys on offense to free him up. Throw MCW in with them, and give us Embiid, Saric and two first rounders (hopefully scorers) this year and I really like what we have going forward. A deep, young and talented team.

chall23ParticipantI live in the Philly area and unfortunately watch many sixers games. I actually think think Grant has been more impressive than KJ. KJ got off to that really hot start but has cooled off drastically. Grant was out for a while but each game he has looked more comfortable. The thing I love is how Brett Brown has the confidence in Jerami to shoot the 3 ball which has improved. Remember he didn’t even make one three ball last year at Cuse. Also, Aldemir can fulfill a role. He plays with his heart on his sleeve and is actually a good rebounder. I think he may be able to carve a niche out as the guy who has 6 fouls to give off the bench.

TrillaParticipantBeen a huge believer in Grant since the draft being from Cuse, I definelty thinks he sticks as a role player in this league and especially on this team. I think his ceiling is somewhere in the Thad Young range like you said, not the leading scorer Thad we saw last year but the hybrid 4 that can contribute on both ends. Grant is a freak, plays with a lot of energy and blocks shots. His jump shot is really looking better and more confident, and with better ball handling and coaching I think he can become a great cutter because hes a good finisher and loves dunking on people. Hes one to watch over the next few years.
