 I don’t know about you guys, but I am getting absolutely, unabashedly, SICK of this officiating. This should be a tremendous match up between the Spurs and the Heat. But it seems like this league has just become a league of the big time players, and actors.

I cannot even fathom how you can only fine a guy $5000, pocket change, for such an egregious flop on DWade. What’s worse is that it’s going to continue being a problem. Yeah sure, you’re trying to make a play happen to help your team win, but god dammit this is the FINALS. Refs shouldn’t be making a call that could determine an outcome. 

I know I’m not the only one sick of all these flops. I want to see something happen where continued flopping gets bigger fines for the more offenses you have, and then getting to the point of suspension for doing it too much (much like technical fouls). I’m just sick of watching replays of guys falling down and acting hurt like this is a soccer match.

 It’s an embarrassment to a sport that’s supposed to be a contact sport. I can’t stand it personally. I wonder what guys who played in the 80’s think of these guys that are ruining the game.

 The league has turned into a "bail out " league. Every player is trying to draw a foul instead of put the ball in the basket. Certain plays like the Durant/Brook Lopez, "arm swing" makes me cringe. At least they dont give them the 2 shots anymore. Also, the continuation fouls are ridiculous. Back in the days you used to have to be in the act of shooting , not chuck it up once the whistle blows

The worst part of that wade.flop is that the ref that made the call didn’t see Manu hit him or even motion at wade, he just saw wade fling his head backwards and blew the whistle.

 Fans are going to have to start bringing large signs to games that say "STOP FLOPPING!" and boo whoever flops 5-minutes at a time even if that player is on the home team. Thats the only thing that would prompt the league to take serious disciplinary action flopping. The fans not enjoying the experience.

Yeah I’ve turned multiple basketball games off because of the officiating. Not just bc of flopping, just poor officiating in general.  Bad calls, no calls, one-sided reffing.  Sh*t is a disgrace.

 Yeah, I can’t stand the flopping either, it’s getting pretty annoying. There needs to be a suspension put in place, especially because Game 2 went down to the line and the game could’ve been completely different had he not flopped. IT’S JUST RIDICULOUS!!!

Mike and Mike talked about flopping this morning, and had a decent idea for fixing the flopping.  Assign another ref to the game to sit courtside with a monitor.  Any play in question is reviewed by that ref, and if a player is deemed to have flopped, give him a technical.  Fining these guys 5k for a flop is a joke.  I’m sure Wade would do the same thing 10 out of 10 times if it’s going to get Ginobili a foul, and get himself to the line.  Especially in an NBA finals game.
