aamir543ParticipantThis just in, Randy Moss has decided to call it a career, truly a great player, and I wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his life.

JNixonParticipantMy 1st time ever seeing him play in my life was Thanksgiving against the Cowboys his rookie year I believe. That was one of the best performances I’ve seen on a football field in the pros to this day. Randy Moss was probably the most talented and gifted receiver to ever play football. Too bad alot of his legacy will be remembered for him being cocky and giving up on teams. The guy was on another level athletically though and still is a top 5 receiver of All-Time despite not going hard all the time, which speaks to how great he was over his career.

iguapops420ParticipantI agree, second greatest receiver of all time behind Rice.
I actually have Randy Moss and White Chocolate’s autograph on a paper towel from when they were in high school going against my school. I was like 8 at the time though. They were actually pretty cool dudes. Followed him ever since. I used t absolutely LOVE going and watching him like at MArshall. I always thought to myself how I was getting to see the guy who was going to dethrone my fav. of all time (49ers fan). Sadly, off field issues and atitude issues messed with him. I remember when I first heard about him slapping his girfriend. Should have saw it coming then lol.
A legend walks away from the field truely today.
Damn I feel old.

TooNice4TVParticipantI bet he’s going to return to the patroits for some reason. Ochocinco has a very happy attitude lately lol and there’s no doubt in my mind he’s going to try and call him eventually

hiphopismylifeParticipantYeah i’d stay tuned. If the right opportunity came up from a strong franchise that could use him, i’m not so sure he wouldn’t consider coming back.
But if this is it, he’s perhaps the most athletic receiver ever to play, and nobody made it look easier at that position.

surveParticipantI dont think he is done…and I really hope he is not. I just think he cant get with the team he wants to get with….which is obviously the Pats or at least another good situation. He still demands double coverage….so I am not so sure this is the last we will see of him on the gridiron.

ForTheWinParticipantDisappointed that he’s done at 34 even though I hated those patriots that trampelled the league that year. Amazing to think that only 2 seasons ago he had 80 Rec. 1,2oo+ yds. and 13 TD. Too bad he’ going out without a ring.

OhCanada-ParticipantMinnesota Vikings with Culpepper and Randy Moss were perhaps the most exciting football team ever, at least they were for me. The whole game I would just wait for Culpepper to set up Moss on a hailmary or for Moss to just leap over a defender for a spectacular catch. Please dont tell me I was the only kid playing football who always pretended he was Randy Moss catching the ball, or always thought he was throwing to Randy Moss. Definitely one of my favourite athletes ever.

kanyedabestParticipant@ ohcanada, haha ya man i feel u…… me nd my friends a few years ago in grade 8/9 would go to the park and play 4 on 4 football and we would all try nd make the spectacular grab like randy moss or marvin harrison ( aww memmories )
im usually always on a players side, but i hate to admit tht moss ruined his own career…… comin out in public last season wanting a new contract and behaving like a moron in the media, he had it all in new england and screwed it for himself then the trade to minny where he also screwed himself over, its tough to feel sorry for moss….. he knew he was skating on thin ice and if he wanted a new deal all he had to do was just be a pro and show up to work everyday but he couldnt even do tht and now no team will take the risk to pick him up

McDunkinGlitter, glisten, gloss, floss, I catch a beat running like Randy Moss -Killer MikeReporter: "Write the check yet, Randy?"Moss: "When you’re rich, you don’t write checks."
Reporter: "If you don’t write checks, how do you pay these guys?"
Moss: "Straight cash, homey."

HaleParticipantJorrye said it best. Moss was 6’4 and still ran a 4.2 and jumped reportedly around 50 inches, when it comes to phyiscal ability no one can touch Moss. Even being a Packer fan I think he is the 2nd best WR of All Time, but we all know that he should be the undisputed number one. He pretty much made Culpepper’s career too (who isn’t even a good UFL QB now). His attitude problems really killed him in the end though.
