Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWith England, USA, France, and Italy out.. Who are your guys’ favorites to win it all? I think maybe Brazil or Portugal? But I’m mexican so I want Mexico to win but from a fan point of view, that’s not going to happen.

khaled_a_dParticipantI am an African(Egyptian) and so I would love seeing Ghana win it All,I am also a big Fan of Germany& Netherlands too
that said I think Brazil /Argentina will win it all0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 9:03am #342647

ChiefSixOneParticipantonce again mexico gets screwed over dude was offside by a mile!

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, they really need instant replay in soccer. It’s not just simple mistakes that are being missed. It’s goals that should be annulled and it’s goals that should be allowed. And in soccer, when you score a goal, it changes your entire gameplan. If the England vs Germany goal would have been reviewed, it would have been a 2-2 game instead of 2-1 then eventually 3-1. It changes everything.

meisi4Participantisn´t it crazy how bad the refs are the whole turnament?
i´m from germany so i really shouldn´t complain but to not see the english goal today was really bad. and next game this crazy offside thing happens…to answer your question of course i hope germay goes deep but it´s gonna be real hard. otherwise i like urugay… i understand every african want´s ghana to go deep but i just hate that prince dude! he injured ballack who was germanys best player so he can´t play at the world cup! i mean to injure someone because you know that you will play against him at the world cup otherwise? sorry but i will never root for somebody doing that!

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHahah Yeah I remember the Ballack injury. The refs have been consistent all tournament…. Consistently horrible. They keep blowing calls that lead to game changing goals.

meisi4Participant100% right! consistent… horrible… seeing germany win wasn´t as good as last games just because you always knew that with a ref who has eyes everything is different and you don´t win 4:1… i think they were pretty lucky but also played really good or what do you think?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 9:56am #342672

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThey played good but like I said, Being down 3-1 is different than being down 3-2. Mexico got down on themselves when they got down 1-0 because of the refs mistake causing Osorio to make a mistake and getting down 2-0. The 3rd goal was a hell of a shot by Tevez! That was ridiculously nice! Germany vs Argentina next round, it’s gunna be good.

meisi4Participantgonna be real good! already looking forward to the game.. it´s just bad that in every game the refs really miss one or two pretty important calls every single game!
i think an instant reaplay like in football would be nice for soccer. give every team one or two challenges and nobody would be complaining anymore!0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 10:12am #342682

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah. at the very least 1 challenge per game. maybe per half.

Michael.S.ParticipantCristiano Ronaldo is amazing and his talent level is unmatchd- portugal wins imo

Anton123ParticipantChristiano Ronaldo is probably the worst douche bag in football right now. That always simulating girl. Big apology to his fans lol
I think the finals will be Argentina-Brazil. Brazil won’t have a hard time, the only real challenge will be beating Holland, Argentina will have a really tough time with Germany and Spain/Portugal, but I think they’ll manage to get through.
I’d say Argentina wins it all0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 10:55am #342728
meisi4ParticipantChristiano Ronaldo is maybe even better than messi because of his physique he can do more things…
BUT: i really hate watching him play. i never saw a guy showing off like this! he always makes the “coolest” looking play and he does it at all costs! he would more likely loose the ball than just make a normal pass without showboating! if he looses the ball he always stands around and complains to either his team or the ref. if he gets touched just a little little bit he seems to be instantly hit by a sniper (okay i admit this happens with 90% of todays players)…
really i hate watching him!0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 12:57pm #342786

torontoraptors10ParticipantArgentina. Plain and simple.

OhCanada-ParticipantPortugal-Im Portuguese,Ive watched them since I was born. Seen them get ripped off right left and center. Watched them lost the Euro Cup Finals in Portugal to Greece.FUCKING GREECE!!!!!!!My fathers been watching them lose fopr 50 years. My Granfathers been watching them lose for 75 years.Always getting ripped off.
World Cup against France-Thiery Henry scores on a DIVE!! That was our last exit.Perhaps without bullsshhit teams like Italy, France etc. Portugal wont get ripped off
In tyhe Brazil Portugal there was one hand ball by Brazil (should have been a Red Card because it was on purpose) and another hand card IN THE PENALTY ZONE THAT WENT UNCALLED IN EXTRA TIME!OPortugal should have won that game too!
