Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWith this new Jay Z/Rick Ross song “Free Mason”, there’s alot of talk about this secret society and secret group out there in the world.
Do you believe in that Illiuminati, NWO and all that?

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not sure about the Illuminati or NWO, but I do know a little about Freemasonry.
Most of our founding fathers were Masons. It’s an old fraternity that still exists today. Masonry is supposed to be about making good men and women better and this is done in a variety of ways. I know plenty of people at the Masonic Lodge and they do A LOT of good things. Charity, etc.
However, the Masons are kind of a distant grandchild (grand-nephew?) of the Knights Templar, some crusaders who were known to worship Baphomet, an idol that was meant to represent Satan. Baphomet is most commonly depicted on pentagrams as a goat’s head fit within the shape. I think this is where all the talk that Jay-Z worships Satan, etc comes from. I’ve seen the Baphomet images on A LOT of him, Kanye West and other famous people’s clothing. Jay-Z has a lot of these satanic type of symbols in his videos, etc. A lot of artists talk about it in their songs if you listen closely and just don’t bob your head to the beat.
I’ve read about levels of Freemasonry, that not many get to, where they start making you do crazy rituals like drink blood out of a skull or act out your death/rebirth by coming out of a casket. I’ve read and heard A LOT of famous people talk about this. A lot of people say Jay-Z (among many others) has done this and is recruiting others.
Whether you believe it or not is up to you. I don’t know if I do or not, but as God fearing man, I don’t think it’s anything to play with. Jay-Z clearly thinks it’s something to play with.

sayounhParticipantLOL. I bet they read one of Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon books(The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, The Lost Symbol) and for some reason thought it would be a great topic for a song.
I don’t doubt that some practice of freemasonry exists, but I also don’t really care since it doesn’t affect me in any way whatsoever.

McDunkin1.Only NWO i ever believed in had Hulk Hogan in it
2. Would Rick Ross really be a member?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 5:03am #351068

IndianaBasketballParticipantRick Ross isn’t a member… At least the last I heard. In his first CD he had a line that said, “No side deals with Satan, I’m dealin’ w/ the maker… Straight up.”
I don’t know if something has changed since then. You never know. Kanye West wasn’t into that stuff when he started either, which clearly isn’t the case now.

check this lebron video out. all three of those signs he throws up are claimed by the illuminati0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 7:18am #351154

Toronto16ParticipantOf course there is. Jay-z, Lebron James, Lil Wayne among some of those included.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 8:18am #351199

the I in winParticipantI’m not sure if it’s the illuminati or some other group but I’m sure their is a group that has more power than a lot of governments. Leaders in drug cartells span over many countries and have to have some way of making sure they never get caught, thats why they never really get the big head up guys, just the runners and shippers.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 8:18am #351200

apb540ParticipantThere is definitely something along the lines of the “Illuminati” in the entertainment industry.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 8:19am #351198

Imaking6004ParticipantEven though I can see Jay Z a Freemason (listen to D’evils”)
I still can’t picture the guy who made Jesus Walks pt.1-3 become a freemason.
also @ButlerBulldogs, is the level most people don’t get to is third degree? Because I heard that’s what Jay Z is right now.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 8:19am #351202

OhCanada-ParticipantIf there was a NWO it started hundreds of years ago when America’s founding fathers declared U.S.A. there land.Nuff said.

nl2niceParticipantlol @ leroy jenkins. i do agree with butlerbulldog tho. this has been a popular topic this past year. but the illuminati thing has been around for a minute. i don’t believe in it but i keep an open mind. one thing that kinda creeped me out tho was that jay-z song called d’evils. it’s pronounced the evils but is spelled like devils. it’s track number 6 on reasonable doubt and the chorus says ”dear God i wonder can you save me, illuminati got my mind soul and my body”…track 6? devils? things that make you go hmmmm?

nl2niceParticipantand this was back in ’96
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 10:44am #351321

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantCall me crazy but I think Biggie was in the Illuminati as well. He drove the way for Jay Z.
I know for a fact Tupac was not a Illuminati member. He in fact, declined them and even discussed the brainwashing they wanted him to do. When he said no, They killed him. They got the men and tried to kill him the 1st time and failed. Second time? Got him.
Jay Z, Beyonce, Oprah, Kayne West are the main 4 in this department.
I’m keeping my eye on Lupe Fiasco lol

WrecklessParticipantBiggie got killed because he kept running his mouth.
BTW go look up Kanyes new song called power. Its crazy.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 10:50am #351328

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantBiggie never put his power position in his songs.
Power is crazy.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 10:54am #351334

Bryant24ParticipantPower is crazy but i like i really dont believe in illumonati but if anybody is in its jayz just listen to his song called lucifer yall now what lucifer mean right

WrecklessParticipant - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 11:19am #351362
nl2niceParticipantplus satan was the minister of music…what better way to get your message through than song? i remember that rumor about playing records backwards and theres satanic messages in it. i think that’s a bit over the top but then again i’ve never done it.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 11:23am #351371

WrecklessParticipantIts true.

IndianaBasketballParticipant@knicksboy32
I don’t think Lupe is in it. He’s trying to avoid it. He’s a super religious dude.
On his first CD he had a line that said… “I had a ghetto boy bop, a Jay-Z boycott ‘Cause he said that he never prayed to God, he prayed to Gotti.”
That was in response to what Jay-Z said in D’Evils… ”Never pray to God I prayed to Gotti… That’s right it’s wicked, that’s life I live it. Ain’t asking for forgiveness for my sins, endz.”

IndianaBasketballParticipant@Imaking6004
I don’t know what the highest level is. I don’t even know if one really exists. Based on what I’ve read and heard though, it does exist and Jay-Z is pretty high up there.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 11:50am #351391

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOh I never heard that Lupe line- Thank god. He’s a classic.
I think there are like 4-5 levels ( in a pyramid form)
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 11:59am #351399

IndianaBasketballParticipantLupe was actually trying to get out of the business because of it. His plan was to make three albums and then break away, but Atlantic Records found some loop hole in his contract and said he had to do 4/5 albums.
It was supposed to be Food & Liquor, the Cool and then LupEnd, but now he’s pushed LupEnd back and is coming out with Lasers. Lupe is one of my favorite rappers because he’s off the hook, plus he’s not corrupted.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWord. I listened to him and he was even more beast on his old mixtapes. I never understood why he never wanted to be the greatest because he has the skill to do so.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 12:32pm #351429

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantWithout a doubt it’s real, you can’t just ignore the signs/symbols used in songs and what the person does, they are high society people that control the sports industry, music industry, entertainment industry etc etc and use it to gain control to establish their “New World Order”, they make it real obvious to so that people think it’s coincidental and think nothing of it.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 12:33pm #351431

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantBut if you believe in God then their isn’t much to really worry about.
