DWadeBIWParticipantBrett Farve expected to sign a 2-year(more like 1) 10-12m contract if he passes his physical today with the Vikings.

JoeWolf1I’m a Bears fan and i would throw a fit if Farve went to the Bears, I don’t see how any NFC North team other than the Packers would ignore the intense North rivalries and welcome him (maybe in his prime, but at 38 no way)

FutureoftheGameSince this is kind of a football post, Greg Paulus was named starting QB for the Orange. NFL in his future??

JoeWolf1He knew he didn’t live up to his bball hype, and wasn’t playin in the NBA, so he’d figure he’s gotta a better chance in the NFL. I bet he’ll sign as an undrafted FA next year

redbaboonParticipantman, brett’s one of the best qb’s ever, but that’s not what we’ll remember him by. we’ll remember a former star who couldn’t give it up, and he ruined his legacy as the man in green bay when he went to the jets, now he just makes it worse by going to another team. Green bay Brett= one of the greatest of all time/ Brett now= annoying. just stay down Brett.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantDoes anybody know if Paulus had any offers to play ball overseas? It’s good news that he was named the starter for Syracuse, but it would take a miracle with cheese for him to make an N.F.L. roster.

SpencerIsHawesomeDrew Brees is a 6′ QB and he wasn’t gatorade player of the year.. paulus has a chance, nobody really knows how good he will be.

gatorheelsParticipantI don’t see how Drew Brees does it….yeah he is only 6′ tall…..He puts up crazy yardage #s & throws a ton of TDS

no1Participantyes, yes for one yr man and you think he’ll be on an nfl roster this time next yr maybe you should brush up on your nfl intellect
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/18/2009 - 6:17pm #202562
SpencerIsHawesomeI doubt he completely forgot to play football/hasn’t thrown the football with his brother a lot in the off-season.
And for the record, I never said whether I thought he would or wouldn’t be on an NFL roster next season. You need to brush up on your reading intellect.

Michael.S.Participantpuhhhhh, hahaha Spence
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/18/2009 - 6:38pm #202585
SpencerIsHawesomeNo, it isn’t the same but he was the number 1 rated player coming out of HS and had offers from everywhere. My HS team played against his, he is(was) the real deal. I dont know how good he is now, but his biggest hurdle will probably be surviving behind that cuse O-line.. The odds are against him to go pro, but “dumbest thing” you’ve ever heard? not quite.
