No one has made a thread yet about Mayo PG play in summer league yet so I am going to do it. I haven’t seen him play yet in the summer league games, so can anyone tell me how his transition to the position is, because I would love to see him be the starting point this season over Conley.

i think he has played okay at the point guard slot. i mean he isnt racking up 8 assts a game or anything but at the same time his teammates arent the best and don toften hit shots like they are supposed 2. hes scoring pretty well tho

ummm i dont think tha summer league will really show how mayo will play tha point guard position…i look 2 tha rookie soph game last year n he distributed tha ball well dispite his rep he is actually pretty unselfish n has understood how to play tha game from day one…so i think if tha grizzles really wanna b playoff team they jus gotta take that terrible move in draftin conley so early as a loss n give up on tha guy n is a good role player off tha bench n to me that would b a stretch…

he looks pretty good he play’d point all thru high school nd studied tha position so its not new to him..he needs to push tha ball more control tempo nd cut down his turnovers could easily average 10apg in summer league if his teammates would convert any of his passes
