bobbybParticipantI just read that Dwight Howard was upset at the elbow he got from David Lee. Is he kidding? He is the king of giving elbows, if you go on Youtube there are endless pages of him elbowing people. He is just frustrated because he isnt playing like a superstar, I think Shaq is right, you can’t call Dwight the best center in the game if he can’t score in the post. I have seen people writing that he isnt getting enough touches. That is his fault for not getting open. He has such a limited area you can feed him the ball to, if he is too far away he turns the ball over or gets fouled and misses the free throws.

frogmanParticipantDon’t listen to a word Shaq says when he talks about Dwight. Even in a down year we all know Dwight is still the best center in the league and if you don’t accept that you are wrong.

r377ParticipantDwight is one of the dirtiest players in the league. Just ask D Rose how many games he has missed due to Dwight’s dirty play….

alingeParticipantDwight being called dirty, by someone whose profile pic is of Bill Laimbeer is quite ironic.

BigMac12111ParticipantIf Dwight is a “dirty” player, then over half of the big men in the league are criminals for what they do in a full game.

Memphis MadnessParticipantDwight is the best by default. But he is also coming off an injury.
He’s actually having a solid year stats wise. He’s getting panned for not dropping 25 and 15 every night.
This can’t be what he signed up for.0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/26/2013 - 4:09pm #757974

LipstickParticipantI thought Marc Gasol was the best center of the league for most of the season, but Dwight’s certainly stepped up as of late and when healthy is by far the best in the league.

d-grizzlyParticipantcareful BobbyB, you said something that the overwhelming amount of Laker fans on this site may not enjoy despite it being factually true.

HandDownManDown13ParticipantSo if Dwight isn’t the best, is it Andrew Bynum?? naw man at least Dwight likes to play basketball, and isn’t a team killer.
Gasol isn’t productive enough. I get that he’s very skilled, but he gets about 2/3 of dwight’s stats with all that skill.
So yeah, Dwight pretty much by default. Its sad to see the Center position fall so far, after we saw some of the best center play in the history of the league during the 90s
