TRC1991ParticipantAs a UW fan (terrence jones/enes kanter ring a bell?) to see John Calipari have his heart broken by this loss.

MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantWho thought the Cats would win? They scraped by every playoff game practically..

TRC1991ParticipantGo ahead and neg me Wildcat fans. I can spare some points. You guys just needed maybe 3 or 4 more mcdonalds all-americans and maybe you would have won!

Land of GrantParticipantThey’re getting them next year, though, Ulis, Lyles, Towns… If the Harrison twins come back that will be some scary sh!t.

strobox88ParticipantHell , 3 or 4 more freethrows would have certainly helped their chances. Kentucky gave the game away at the line.

TimeForNineParticipantKentucky fan and proud. The growth of this team was amazing to watch. If this team had any other name on the chest, the entire nation would be behind a group of 5 freshmen trying to shock the world. These guys made a great run and while I hate that they came up short, they went down fighting hard.

thricethefunParticipantThey did not deserve to beat the likes of great teams like Michigan and Wisconsin. Just got lucky.

HOops1562ParticipantNo luck in Aaron Harrison swishing 3 straight game winners but they played like freshmen on the biggest stage and it finally caught up to them

Ghost01ParticipantHaha, that was a great win for all people who hate college coaches.
Seeing Calipari lose – and coach an awful final minute, as well as see Kevin Ollie lead Calhoun’s program to a title in his 2nd year…the only thing that could make me happier is Syracuse winning a title the year after Boeheim retires.

doubledribblerParticipantThat last minute was confusing on Cal’s part. It was like he panicked which is odd considering how composed he has been.
It is also kind of crazy to think that Shabazz has two titles. No players seem to get multiple titles anymore.

TimeForNineParticipantShabazz was a fun guy to watch grow. From an out of control freshman learning under Kemba to basically becoming Kemba 2.0. He had one of the best years a PG has had in recent memory and a great career as well.

King CaluchaParticipantAll I can say is that experience really matters. If you can get several top ranked players that fit together like this UK team, then you should. However, learning to play the right way is something that always takes time.

lalailaParticipantI’m from Europe so I might not understand where the hate come from..
but you guys look funny to be happy for their loss like it’s an argument they are scrubs..
NO! they had an incredible run.. I would they even alltime honorable mention run.. it could be like fab5 ting (I mean five ten years from know average fans might not even remember who were the champs but that 5 freshmen starting lineup getting to the finals on arguably hardest schedule will be remembered pretty long I think)

TRC1991ParticipantMy dislike for scumbag Calipari is greatly warranted.
University of Washington had a commitment from Terrence Jones a couple years ago, and Calipari called him within FIFTEEN MINUTES of him publically announcing he was going to play at UW and convinced him to switch.
Also, UW had a commitment from Enes Kanter and Calipari pulled the same BS move and stole him immediately after he commited to us. He’s just a smug pile of crap. Karma bit his ass when Kanter was ruled academically ineligible
