RUDEBOY_ParticipantInsiders say Damien Wilkens is playing better than anyone in camp…And has the best chance at getting that final roster spot..Grizzlies coaches love his aggressiveness & outside shooting.
Forward Rudy Gay ended the morning session with a cramp in his leg..But return for the evening session..Said he felt fine..
Rookie Greveis Vasquez spent the entire practice riding a stationary bike and getting treatment on his surgically repaired ankle..
Hollins said he wanted to get a feel for Tony Allen by playing him at backup point guard doing practice.Allen played backup point guard for the Celtics in a reserve role..
Grizzlies also added 4 year journeyman Josh Davis from Wyoming to their training camp roster…

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI still want them to play Oj and Gay a majority of the time and I love the Henry and Vasquez picks…Zac needs to be traded for a PG Imo…That and a great young PF in the draft are my hopes for the Grizzles…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantNo Zach was their best and most important player last season…they’re high on Acie Law they think he can blossom in their system..if he doesnt they have Allen to play backup…Vasquez wont do much this year..

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantNothing sparks optimism like hearing a Minnesota castoff is outplaying everyone in camp.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipanthe’s playing for a new deal and then the twinkies will come back, He’s been overweight before and he’ll slip up again with his weight after he gets big money or anything close to it…I would trade him Today if it brings back a good to great starting PG and draft pick…Mayo,Gay,Gasol and Henry are the core, anyone else can be moved IMO
