Dale WorthingtonParticipantNorris Cole just had one of the greatest games in hoops history:
41, 20, and 9…
…and he’s a point guard.
Dougy Gottlieb actually just called him the best point guard in the nation.
This is the fellow who broke my heart two years ago when he browbeated Wake in the 1st round of the Tournament…I had Wake going to the NCAA Championship that year.

HitsterParticipantWhen I read the name I thought of the guy above, he’s a very famous UK Soap character called Norris Cole. Google the name and he’ll be the top entry I reckon.

blackflash234ParticipantWOW, what an amazing stat line. I wonder if a performance like today put’s him in the first round. Who would you compare him to?

B FreeParticipantDue to his size quickness and awesome hair I would say Brandon Jennings if Jennings was a man.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantNorris Cole with 24 points at the half against a very good ODU squad.

ilike.panochasParticipantFor Doug Gottlieb to say Cole is the beat PG in the nation is going over board. He’s not even the best mid-major PG in the nation (that would be Charles Jenkins of Hofstra).

IndianaBasketballParticipantSpecial game, but let’s not think this kid is first round material. Best point guard in the nation he is not.

flyboyParticipantI’m not quite sold on him being a major impact player. He’s definitely improved his game this year from what I saw from him last year. My biggest issue with him is, he’s not an amazing athlete nor an amazing shooter, so what is his true offensive ability at the next level and can he translate his game. He is a good ballhandler and passer and has a good basketball IQ and feel for the game, all pluses for his ability to play PG and slash to the basket. He’s also got a good mid-range game and he knows how to get to the FT line. I see him as a rotation player but not starter material in the NBA until/unless he boosts his outside shooting a little to compensate for the more athletic players that will defend him on an every game basis.
