Early returns might indicate that at least a few second year players are failing to make the next step predicted for them. Wayne Selden and Chris Walker – at least from the stats – are not setting themselves up for break out seasons. Any other disappointments you can think of or better analysis of what is going on with these players?

Chris Walker showed flashes of dominance last season in limited action. As far as becoming a disappointment within this season, I cannot put a claim on it until I watch a full Gator game.

I really don’t know which games you did not see versus looking straight at the box score. His energy and presence on the floor made an impact within this 5-6 minutes he played a game. The box score says otherwise but you would have to see the game itself. His first game always a "big indicator."

I caught glimpses of him last season, he never impacted the game. Never. He was lost, just like he is right now.

Selden just lacks the quickness or speed to consistently get by defenders. Doesn’t have the shooting touch to make them play him tighter. Self appears to be wanting to use him as a playmaker in the halfcourt where his greatest skill of vision and passing is utilized the best. Defense is improvef though. I expect to see Selden back next year.

Not really. Efficiency is up across the board + more steals. He’s getting 11 minutes less this season due to obvious reasons.
