A.M.G.ParticipantSelby is a one-and-done, believe that. When was the last time the player Rivals ranked #1 overall didn’t get into the NBA at the earliest opportunity? Well, at least since 2002, every single Rivals #1, even B.J. Mullens, was either straight outta HS or a 1n’done. And Selby will be no different, barring catastrophic injury.
Like really? Terrence Jones and C.J. Leslie get in as one-and-dones but Selby doesn’t? I assume you just forgot about him.
He is an explosive scoring PG, he will declare for the 2011 NBA Draft, and he will probably have shown enough at Kansas to warrant being taken as a lottery pick.

gregoden08ParticipantIt’s June 18th…No big rush. And there is never a guarantee that he’s entering the draft.

KU PRIDE14ParticipantI fully agree with you A.M.G. like seriously they are giving him no credit right now, ready for him to surprise real quick

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantFrom the horse’s mouth:
Interestingly, Selby said he doesn’t view himself as a Derrick Rose or a John Wall type of player.
“I don’t see myself as them, because right now, I don’t look at me as one-and-done,” Selby said. “They were one-and-done in high school.
Yes perhaps he will declare after his freshman year but even he is saying that right now that is not necessarily the case. So lets give him the benifit of the doubt for now and not get too worried if he isn’t in 2011 mocks.

WizardofOzParticipantJosh Selby was in NBADraft.net’s 2011 draft for only 1 week and after that, they took him off.

A.M.G.ParticipantI don’t believe Selby when he says he doesn’t see himself as a 1&done. Maybe Selby isn’t a guaranteed 1&done like some kids who have zero interest in school, but if he plays well enough and has good draft buzz, he will be entering that draft.
Whatever though, it doesn’t matter too much who is on the 2011 mock, since it’s all guesswork anyways.
