I have saw many many many people on this site talk about the knicks and use next years pick. Its no secret the 2010 draft will be stronger than this years but not many people seem to know that new york does not own its 2010 first rounder. Too many people on here continue to say that the knicks will continue to land a good player in next years draft to entice lebron, dwade, bosh or whoever to come along. im just tired of seeing people say coming up with all these crazy trades and using the pick as trade bait or whatever but the jazz on it and im 99% sure they’ll keep it.

    LOL…I agree

everytime i see The Knicks 1st round pick in 2010…i just wanna scream

Also, we may add a pick later in the season because players like Al Harrington and Larry Hughes can help a playoff team in a finals run.

    a. harrington or l. hughes ?? no serious contender is going to want a. harrington a guy u is known for taking bad shots and not playing defence the only way someone takes a. harrington is if his contact is expiring next season… as for l. hughes he has proved that he is not much more than addition depth on a good team and again the most likely chance he gets move is in a money move (i think his contract is up after this yr)

Both Contracts are up next season.

I think a team could add one of them….

Actually the Knicks are in a position where they will not have to do any of that. They have some nice talented player over contract of ones they can resign and they have money for a top free agent. Also there are lots of talented players that can be gotten on the cheap. The draft is mainly about developing talent. You may not always be able to keep who you develop so the Knicks will have the money to take from other team finished products. The could always buy some mid to late 1st round picks because some team unless there a player they want would rather be in the early second round.
