I was on YouTube watching some player mixes, and I came up with a new way to compare the players. What if we used either music artists or albums to compare a player or their skills? This is what I came up with.

Kobe Bryant- An often misunderstood basketball genius driven by success and hard-work. Despite all his flaws as an individual (allegedly), he continues to display his greatness and reasoning why his competitive nature is never questioned. In the end, he will possibly go down among the greatest of all-time.

    MUSIC COMPARISION: Lil Wayne

LeBron James- Arguably, the most talented individual to ever grace any kind of sport with his skills and physical build. Was the league’s poster child up until his “DECISION”. Always in the media and is somewhat of a controversial individual, clashing with the greats and renewing all sorts of rivalry. Despite all of the negative surrounding him now, you can’t ignore his impact on the game over the past years.

    MUSIC COMPARISION: 50 Cent

Kevin Durant- The newest love in the eyes of basketball fans! His youth and star-power have gave us a breathe of fresh air for those caught in the LeBron, Kobe, Wade, and other superstar hype. His great scoring skills and growing leadership have given him the keys to a new franchise that no one expected to make this big of an impact. He is THE FUTURE.

    MUSIC COMPARISION: Drake

Brandon Roy- Smooth is all that can be said about this star’s game. Clean cut and laid back, but is able to use his abilities to dominate the game.

    MUSIC COMPARISION: T.I.

If you have any others, feel free to post!!!

Michael Jordan – The G.O.A.T. of basketball. Had a tough-as-nails on court demeanor. Consistently delivered on the court. Had a few off-the-court problems when he cheated on his wife and some problems with his teammates. Took a leave-of-absence when he tried to experiment with baseball, but when he came back to basketball, he was better than ever. Is the best ever and know one will ever take his place as the G.O.A.T..

    Music Comparison: 2pac
