    New twist in negotiations
    8/5/2011-12:59am

In a slightly surprising move by the National Basketball Association, the decision has been made to nationally televise NBA games this upcoming, locked out, season by letting David Stern and select owners’ face-off against each other in NBA 2K12. When asked how he feels this will influence the negotiations Stern was quoted as saying

“I can say without reservation that it is simply the best for all parties involved. If (players) are really going to have a problem, they will have to make a decision about how they want to spend their adult life in terms of playing in the NBA or not, … quite liberal and easygoing”.

In an abrupt reaction to this news NBPA president Derrick Fisher tweeted

“That’s ok with me; I think I should retire anyway”.

However, there has been some resentment from certain anonymous owners as to the fairness of this decision

“This is ludicrous, I was done with getting picked last when I left the 6th grade and to have it start all over again is worse than societies misconception of how talented Darko really is”.

Sh*t! I was a hoping it would be an actual positive twist. This is still funny though.

Me too.  But Stern nees to take shots whenever the opportunity is there.  Here is a potential positive to there being a lockout.

    – The NBA loses a lot of money.

    – It is seen as failure on Stern’s behalf (along with people questioning his ethical base)

    – He is fired.

    – 19 – 40 year old athletes, coaches, and fans do not have to worry about being bullied by an aged hobbit trying to convince people he is actually 6’4.

I just have a moral dilemma with loving the NBA and then going to a site, seeing his face/smirk, and hearing how he is fining/suing the socks off of some 22 year old who grimmaced about a no call.
