WizardofOzParticipantI do not think the Warriors will pick Cousins, even if he is still available. He does not fit their system, and I don’t think that Don Nelson will want a rookie that has attitude problems when he already has a hard time grooming rookies.
There is no way that the Clippers will take Hayward over George and Babbitt. Hayward is a prospect that should be picked mid teens-early 20’s. That would be way to big of a reach.
Other then that, your mock draft is pretty good overall.

jwet33ParticipantYea i’m going to change it back to Cousins, then Monroe. Who do you see the Clippers selecting at 8.

Toronto16ParticipantAny mock that has the Raptors passing on Bradley deserves a thumbs down. Do you not read what’s going on?

jwet33ParticipantJust because there is hype around him regarding the Raptors selecting him, do you necessarily believe it? I mean the Raptors have 2 point guards. Calderon does suck and Jack is decent. I think they could select him only if the Pacers don’t first. Aldrich would start right at center though, moving Bargnani to the 4. unless a sign and trade for Lee and Bosh.

BucksRUSParticipantBased on an interview with Riley, Warriors will take the best player available. Sounded like they would take Monroe or Cousins or Johnson depending on who slid to them.

WizardofOzParticipantIf Aminu is available, I think they will pick him, but since you don’t have him available, I see the Clippers taking George or Babbitt.

wesleymatthews23ParticipantI dont think Aminu will go to the Pistons. They are looking for a center and want to select Cousins or Monroe. Most likely neither of them will be available so they might trade this pick, but if this does not happen then they will probably select Udoh who could still play C. He is willing to play any position his team needs him to play. Pistons could take Aminu and then use him as trade bait. Clippers would probably bite at this and send Jordan or Kaman to them for Aminu. If Aminu is not available at 8 for the clippers their choice is between George, or Babbitt. It will be really interesting who is picked at 5-9. These 5 picks will determine a lot in terms of who other teams select.
I also have Cousins going to the Warriors, because of the Warriors love for potential and athleticism. He would just be too mcuh of a talent to pass up if he is still available at 6. Cousins will be picked before Aminu, mark my words.0- Posted on: Fri, 06/18/2010 - 4:16am #334796
