TC_42ParticipantThis is a bit of an amalgamation. The logo comes from Michael Weinstein (www.michael-weinstein.com), and the uniforms come from Tim E. O’Brien (www.timeobrien.com). Just imagine the blue on the unis darker to match the ones on the court if you want.
New logo: Court 1:
Court 2:
Home uni:

Away uni:

This is one of the best logos I’ve ever seen, in my opinion. It’s more old school than retro if that makes sense.
Yay? Nay? Do you like the darker blue or lighter blue better?

omphalosParticipantLogo and uni remind me too much of the Clippers. The Deron Williams uni has a better scheme, but I don’t really like that one either, the giant stars are too obnoxious for a team with no obvious connection to them.

ilike.panochasParticipantThis is pretty good. The logo looks like the planet Saturn. The stars on the side of the uniform makes it hard.

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantThe court and the logo are cool, but I don’t know about the uniforms though.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI understand these are probably difficult to create, but I do not see a lot of creativity or new blood in these logo re-do’s that have been posted. This is the best one yet, but it says nothing about the city of Brooklyn and brings nothing new to the table other than writing "Brooklyn" on the side of the jersey. The Hawks one was WAY to cartoony and I think would make the Raptors old Barney logo look like a masterpiece. The Kings were almost exactly like their old jerseys, it just did nothing for me.
Logos I think are cool are ones that say something about the team or city. I love some old school logos that are classics (Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, 76ers), but I also really like the ones with hidden messages or something more to them than just the team name or mascot trying to look fancy.
I know I maybe talk about Oregon too much, but the reason I like our current logo is that it is actually the shape of our football stadium. So, we have the "O" representing Oregon, but it also is a birds eye view of the stadium, it really captures a part of Eugene:

Something I would like from these would be to take the team or city initials and make them a part of the logo. I found that is always the coolest logo, one that maybe even has a hidden message behind its design. While a lot of people dislike the Wizards (as compared to the Bullets), I liked what they did in the logo, making the W in the Wizards beard. If they had hidden in a more legible "DC", they would have been even better. Still, I wonder why this guy did nothing with the "ATL" or "BK". They just seem to be little things related to basketball, but not really the city at all. Yes, I saw the crown imagery, the Hawk was indeed a Hawk, but I have not really found any of these to be upgrades over the current logos or uniforms.

apb540ParticipantI like the logo and floor, but the unis are a little bit intense. I’m not bashing them at all though; they are still pretty cool.
As mikeyvthewritealongasspost said, the lack of anything "Brooklyn" in them is a lil strange. The first two things I think about Brooklyn are the bridge and rap. The logo obviously has neither but at the same time, it’s still pretty cool.

What is wrong with Brown! Just because it isn’t the color of your skin doesn’t mean you have to hate on it!(Just kidding, hahahaha)
I like the logos, pretty sweet, and the Uniforms aren’t that bad, but way to many stars, and like MikeyV said, a bit too generic.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI do know it is part of their history, but do they really not want to start a new identity in Brooklyn? Your logo looks interesting, but it says nothing about the city, or the team name. Why not have something of a net hanging from your Saturn like ring, which I guess could be interpreted as a hoop? I am not saying any of this out of disrespect or hate, just suggestions that I would hope someone would give to me if they felt so inclined. You definitely seem to have a passion for this, but I just was not really feeling the whole "bringing back ABA motifs" in the Nets and Hawks. If it were the St. Louis Spirits, on the other hand, I am all for it (I have a Moses Malone throw back, love that logo).

chevilicousParticipantI like the idea of having your uni representing something from your respected city, however as a jazz fan when we had the mountain uni for a few seasons it was just utterly disgusting, and even as a 10 yr old kid with no idea of what fashion was I couldn’t throw one on, i had to go pick up a malone all-star uni instead.
