valentineloosk like the nets are headed to another win and its looking pretty ugly… b walker has came down to earth this game (although i missed the first half)…
the nets backcourt is playing well
the deer still looks like he did with his past 2 teams
wilson chandler,dino, and lee are looking pretty good0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 4:58pm #263711

IndianaBasketballParticipantHow do you lose to the Nets by 20 points?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 4:58pm #263712

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantWow, the Nets got lucky from three tonight. I haven’t seen them shoot like this all year, and yes, I have watched almost all of their games. Once Lee hit that 3 from the corner with Chandler an inch away from him, and Lopez hit that “fade-away” over two people, I knew the game was over. Hell, even Devin Harris got into the act from three.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantThey actually look like an NBA team when Courtney Lee plays well.

MagikKnickParticipantThe Knicks are too small of a team to be competitive…Too many times on the court when the tallest player for the Knicks is 6’8 or 6’9
But this game came down to 3s
Nets shot 58% from downtown
While the Knicks made 0 threes, on 18 tries0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 5:11pm #263719
quinceyhodgesknicks defense sucks. comes down to thembeing bad on defense
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 5:12pm #263720

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea… They lost to the worst offensive team in the league by 20. I don’t even understand how you do that.

knicks82Participant3’s and foul trouble killed the Knicks. Lee and Gallinare who both played really well in the game got into early foul trouble after being up by 16 in the 1st qtr. It was all down hill after that. Lee was a +8 and Gallinari was a +5 in the game. And this was the first game since 2006 that the Knicks didnt make a 3. Knicks d played good in the first qtr cause they were being aggressive, but after all the fouls they couldnt be anywhere near as aggressive.

quinceyhodgesyeah that defense was good awful. anytime you lose to the nest by that much and let them score liek that youre defense needs to be addressed. but its not liek we didnt already know that there defense was bad
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 5:29pm #263727

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Knicks are a bad defensive team, but even they’re better than this… Giving up 113 points to a team that averages less than 91 on the season is awful. 113 points was a season high for the Nets.

quinceyhodgeswhy didnt the deer step up and take over the game?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 5:38pm #263731

knicks82ParticipantAll I know is after this year the honeymoon is over for Mike Dantoni. HE was already on the hot seat and another loss to the Nets wont help. I cant put all the blame on him though. The Knicks just dont have enough talent. TMac is a gimp. Bill Walker has never really played before in the NBA, Jonathen Bender gets some burn and he hadnt played in 4 years. Gallinari is getting better, but still very inconsistent. Harrington has his days, but his best days are far behind him. Chandler is good, just needs to be a better rebounder, and improve 3 point shooting. S-Rod is ok. House has been atrocious from the field, they might as well put Duhon back in his place. So basicly its David Lee and a couple of good role players…they suck.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantAlso, be on the lookout for my news story explaining why Chris Duhon really hasn’t been playing for the last couple of weeks 🙂

quinceyhodgeshe has to feel real bad by not getting any run while the guy ahead of him sucks as well. he might be have some mental issues trying to deal with that..lol. i wonder if they have one on one games to see worst the worst player on the team
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 5:47pm #263738

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe need a tough defensive minded coach… Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Anthony Mason and John Starks can’t even watch the Knicks right now.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 6:16pm #263742

DWadeBIWParticipanthey at least the Nets tied for the worst record and won’t get the worst record all to themselves.
0- Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 6:31pm #263744

knicks82ParticipantElias Sports Bureau says the 0-18 3 point shooting from the Knicks was the most atts without a make in league history.

NYK2010ParticipantJust 20 games left thankfully, this team is really awful.
I think its time to put Gallo on the bench start Tmac and Chander at SG/SF.
Gallo’s lack rebounding and defense is hurting the team.
Not sure why Tony Douglas isn’t getting minutes esp. when the team is clearly out of it.0- Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 7:41pm #263752

knicks82ParticipantI disagree with you about Gallo going to the bench. For one hes the tallest guy they got, and idk how many games you watch but he might play harder on defense than anyone else on the team, I do agree his rebounding needs to be better. I also agree that Toney Douglas should be getting Eddie Houses minutes though.

NYK2010ParticipantI’ve watched them all but his defense still isn’t very good, then again no one on the team is that good on D. His offense hasn’t been that good lately either.
You have to play Tmac, Chandler, Lee as starters though I don’t really like Tmac as a PG.
Also Harrington is starting at PF still they have lack of a post up game too many perimter guys.0- Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 7:54pm #263755

knicks82ParticipantTrue. They say Eddy Curry will be back Wednesday vs the Spurs….Yippee! I do hope Eddy can be productive before this season is over, he did work his ass off to get back in shape.

McWinningParticipantHodges you must think hes a superstar when you say ”why didnt the deer step up and take over the game?” the teams problem was bench production (besides him), and no three pointers House and Gallo were horrible behind the arc.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/07/2010 - 6:21am #263796
quinceyhodgeslol..obviously it was a joke. i know hes no star or even close to being a star. hes a backup. and he has shown hes still a back up. kinda bad when you lose youre starting spot to a sg that hasnt played in the nba effectively in a year
