the barronParticipantWe all know the Nets are terrible and chances are they will get the top pick. I know the worst team hasn’t won the lottery in past years but what do the Nets do if they win it this year. John Wall is the consensus top pick but, Devin Harris is one of the few bright spots on that team and the Nets really need a wing player or a PF. Going with Evan Turner or Wes Johnson seems to me like the better option for the Nets as opposed to another PG.

TyroberParticipantchances are that they WONT get the number one pick. They have the best chance but their odds are bad. they had 3-1 to not get the pick. there is a 75% chance that another team gets the pick. Its a coin flip with the 2nd pick. and they are favored to get the 3rd pick. The good news is they cant finish any worse than 4th

quinceyhodgesits possible that they try for turner. but i doubt it.i think theres a better chance they get wall and see if wall and harris can play together

WizardofOzParticipantI think the Nets would pick John Wall and trade Devin Harris and get something they need in return.

quinceyhodgesthat makes sense after they see how they work together just like sac did with martin and evans. i see people have short termmemory though. harris was a allstar last year and hurt most of this year. wall has potential but no one knows how good hes gonna be.you dont trade a sure thing for a maybe

the I in winParticipantAs quincey stated you don’t trade a proven player for a prospect that hasn’t played yet. On that note, if and probably when Wall shows out I would move Harris for a PF. If they don’t like Wall someone would take him just on hype.
Naturally the Nets would be disappointed if they didn’t get the first pick but their are other players, namely Wes Johnson and Evan Turner, that would fit a need for the team.

quinceyhodgesand letsremeber that other thing called injury…if he comes in and pulls a blake or how about oden….yeah that wouldlook very smart to just trade harris after drafting wall

tonyl33ParticipantI think that the best draft for the nets right now would be Greg Monroe to help out at the 4. Monroe at the 4 and Lopez at the 5 is a bright future. Let’s not forget, the Nets have, Harris (a past all star), Courtney Lee (help the Magics get to the finials last year), and T. Williams along with CDR to play the 3 position. They have a bright future, I think they just need a coach or a system to complement them as a team.

BlazermannParticipanti would love to see evan turner as pacer a big combo guard with alot of shooters around him and a scoring point in t.j ford

the I in winParticipantIf Evan Turner goes to the Pacers he should be the point. His penetration would get so many open threes for Granger, Rush, and Murphy.

fastdanParticipantWho remembers all the ‘kings with the #1 pick’ posts this time last year…the wall/turner debate is endless, it’s way more fun to speculate about what the nets/wolves/ect would do with the 3/4/5 pick.
