anthony_DavIS23ParticipantI’ll post the link in the next comment but news just released that Nerlens Noël has been cleared to play by sixers medical staff. He probably won’t play until after the all star break

samosasParticipantNerlens was in Lexington, KY the other day. bit.ly/1a7SnzZ. Dude is a total tearjerker. He visited half a dozen kids (and adults) on his own accord that were sick with various ailments while at UK, now he’s got a little kid on dialysis meeting Lebron James. This is the definition of high charachter, him and Lebron both.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantBut he’s grown on me as a player and a person after reading articles like the one above…
I hope he can stay healthy and continue grow as a basketball player, he’s still got to put on some weight and develop the skills needed to become an impact player…
I just want him to become a terror on defense and to rebound the basketball like his life depended on it, if he became a Rodman esqe player at Pf/C I’d be a very happy guy…
If the 76ers are smart they don’t rush him back on the court and take it slow and steady with Noel, 8 minutes per game over the next few months will be a nice start IMO
I really want to use the Cap Space we’re building up to sign a player like Greg Monroe(RFA) or Kevin Love(if we wait it out another season) to pair up with Noel on the inside

aivsdirkParticipantyo as nice as this story sounds lets be clear it has nothing to do with on the court. His game really hasnt warranted any respect for me. He in my opinion is still living on his hype from high school. Seriously remember him vs alex len when kentucky played maryland. This dude needs tons of work on the offensive end and to put on weight if he ever wants to be a productive contributor for the sixers.

vulture711ParticipantThe team hasn’t cleared him just the doctor. Again – I’m in Noooooooo hurry for him to come back. We aren’t striving for a playoff spot this year. Be very very cautious (until after the draft this year 😉

TarHeelRavenParticipantI don’t know if it would be a good idea to bring back Noel at all this year. I don’t think the Sixers will make the playoffs (though you never know in the East). Noel has so far to go as far as being ready offensively to contribute. I think it would benefit him to sit out the rest of the season, work on his own for now because I don’t think he’s ready to jump right in and be a contributor for the Sixers. Let him have a full summer of conditioning and skill work so he can come in 100 percent healthy and have a full training camp with the team. I think that would be the best option for Noel now.

RigelzParticipant… i believe that playing true and hard games is the best way to understand your weakness and learn the game. Noel could play with no pressure and this is another good thing….
